I think this is one of the best resale stores in the area. Variety and quality can typically be counted on with every purchase. AND the proceeds go to building homes for Habitat for Humanity. That gives low income folks an opportunity to purchase a home they can afford with sweat equity and affordable payments.

I donate often to Ruth’s Room as I’m a previous employee and volunteer of Habitat For Humanity. I’m never greeted upon arrival and the “donation drop off” is always so unorganized. An older gentleman with long hair is always so rude to me saying we can’t just drop off items at the gate and must wait for someone to come help. They should put a bell for donar’s to ring if that’s the case as I’ve waited long periods before he or someone realizes I’m there. He inspects donations and rejects items that don’t look new. These are donations of gently used items that can be resold to people in need. He in particular has refused to accept items from me in the past. He never offers to provide me with a receipt for my donations. He’s a rude! I won’t be donating to this organization as long as he works there. The Salvation Army will get my donations from now on- Do better Ruth’s Room

I was at ruths room yesterday 9-29-23. The prices have really increased. I am disappointed. They cleaned the place up but many items over priced and can be bought cheaper new.

Was very excited to check it out because I’ve passed by many times wanting to stop once I finally did I was very disappointed. Very rude staff only people that were nice to us were the other customers.
