“I popped in desperate for groceries and not wanting to deal with Kroger besides I live down Sherman this is closer .. They need handicap carts they may have got them by now .. store was clean and meat counter had no flies buzzing around and air smelled nice and not covered up by cleaners. Be aware that seasoned meats more than likely have MSG Is bad for hearts and high blood pressure and kidney problems ~ and if you have diabetes this means you because you've got all three. I have never cooked authentic Mexican food and did not recognize any of the vegetables except potatoes but I bought a packaged bunch of things that look like they were designed to be stew so I went with it because I had a big chunk of meat at home ..BEST STEW EVER, adding very little tomato sauce to the beef bouillon and Smokey fajita seasoning and cilantro which of course I recognized but was not in the package. I don't know if they regularly package those veggies they may have put them together to sell quicker but I'm going back to find out. I have learned what Sofrito cooking base is, So next time I'm getting that because it already has salt and seasonings peppers and little chopped vegetables as well as a beefy flavor so I'm using that next time and it is available at that store as well as Herdez tomatillo cooking base, especially great when cooking pork and chicken I haven't tried beef yet but I will ...I love the McCormick's Mayonesa (mayo) better flavor than all the rest if you are bored with your mayonnaise get some ! Don't be scared to shop here if you don't speak Spanish you know what you've eaten in a restaurant good by that , I mean there's probably not much you would hate or shouldn't know how to fix up to taste good and throw it on a flour tortilla, cheese shreds, tomato, avocado. When in doubt throw a packet of Taco, burrito, or fajita seasoning on some meat. Open up the package of corn tortillas and start rolling up some enchiladas throw some cheese in there make them your way.. If you're using chicken mix up some cream of chicken soup and sour cream equal amounts spread that over your enchiladas cover with parchment paper or wax paper and then foil. Bake @425° 20 minutes. You could use medium or hot salsa instead of sour cream. I do that for beef enchiladas and use a mushroom soup or some other beefy type like beef mushroom or consummé. Get shoppin'!”

“First time here. Didn't know they served food. Always thought it was pretty ordered type place. Had lunch. OMG, I had an awesome chicken salad sandwich and side of Mac n cheese. It was really good. It's better than i expected. And the place was clean and well kept. Nice staff too. I will be back.”

“Very friendly and helpful people. I needed a few dozen tamales in a pinch for a party that I was going to and they were able to come through for me and help me out with just a few hours notice.”

“Great place for authentic Mexican tacos. The tacos were delicious. They had agua de coco, which was amazing! I like that their agua frescas aren't overwhelmingly sweet but still maintain a good flavor. The whole place (including the restrooms) is kept very clean. The pan dulce was soft, fresh and delicious.”
