I had a 60 minute massage today and left feeling refreshed and ready to start my day. The receptionist (Brittany) greeted me when I walked in and was very friendly! She gave me a glass of water while I waited - very briefly. Lui was my massage therapist today and he was wonderful! I’m so glad I gave this location a chance. I will definitely be back.

I canceled contract with them over 3 months ago. They continue to charge me. I just finally realized it so I blocked them. I try to call them but they don't seem to care.

I came in here yesterday and talked to a VERY helpful girl. She was excellent, very kind and knowledgeable, if I had just experienced her I would be giving 5 stars. However, I had to call this morning (HOURS) before my appointment to cancel due an emergency, and the girl that answered the phone told me she was going to charge me 50% of the service because there is a “cancellation fee” within 24 hours of your appointment. I had made my appointment within 24 hours of my appointment, and had been only told about the fees if you miss your appointment without notice. They are not clear with their fees and are trying to scam you. She did wave the fee but was acting as if she was doing me a favor. I told her to delete me account. DO NOT GO HERE THEY ARE SCAMMERS.

Therapist was late arriving. Was told it wouldn't come out of my time, but it did. Then was told since my membership was started in Arlington I would now have to pay an extra 15.00 each appointment on top of my membership. Oh, and on another occasion I made an appointment drove an hour to get there and was told they cancelled but I never received a notification. The absolute worst Message Envy ever and I have been a customer almost 10 years

Terrible management. She was rude to my daughter who quit and I have quit as a result. One of the front desk employees said the manager is the reason they are losing clients.

Delivered here for doordash. Got paid a whole $2.50 to deliver two pizzas, breadsticks and a 2 liter drink as there was no tip included. Clearly the establishment is anti tipping so please respect their wishes and don't tip their employees either.

Terrible management/ownership. I book prenatal massages, I’m 20 weeks pregnant. They messed up my appointment and tried to say it was on me because I didn’t remind them? I booked it as prenatal, management is extremely rude and unprofessional. Would give zero stars if I could!I also saw that many of the VARIOUS OTHER one star reviews were provided a link by management, which I completed. The same management that I had a problem with just called me after completion, which was another joke in itself. I am so embarrassed for this location and will be using my membership in other locations if possible. Management said that it "might be hard for me to find another specialized prenatal massage therapist somewhere else." Again, so embarrassed for the ownership of this location.

The receptionist says "but I can rebook you"! That, after me showing up for a 4pm appointment I booked two days ago online and was just told the therapist called in sick this morning. The receptionist curtly told me "we called everyone and left a message", but no phone call or message for me. Then she tells me that "sometimes the online appointments don't even get booked" which, when I asked about mine, she shrugs it off. Not a good first impression, between the sour receptionist and the circumstances. I understand therapists get sick, but they had plenty of time to notify me...and if they know their online booking is a problem, why are they taking bookings online? At least an apology was in order for the inconvenience. I wasted almost an hour between prep time and drive time. No, I don't want to rebook here....plenty of other locations places to get a massage.

This location is not the best one in the denton area. They have raised their monthly prices several times since I joined. I have not had a massage there in quite some time because they never have a female that can do hard/deep tissue. I tried to cancel once before and the manager was rude and only gave me to option to basically postpone so I did that. Now when I try to cancel for the second time (before the next charge date) I'm told you have to wait 10 DAYS, so I'll be charged anyways. Oh and you only get 60 days to use the remaining visits. Do yourself a favor and go to a non chain location for your massage/spa needs.

Can't keep massage therapists, poor management / ownership, and pricing = do yourself a favor, and actually go to a spa or a therapist that is stand alone where you can get the same service that Massage Envy will charge - minus the drama, and difficulty getting an appointment.

The manager at this location "Cherielynn" is the most unprofessional person I've ever encountered in my life. I canceled my membership TWICE because she lost my paperwork. Then they still charged my card for the next month. When I called to inform the manager that I needed a refund because I no longer had a membership she was extremely rude and unprofessional. She kept over talking me, screaming on the phone, telling me I didn't know what I was talking about and that I just have to use the credit because it's not her fault that she didn't get my paperwork. She thought she hung up the phone but instead I got to listen to her bad mouth me to the front desk clerk. She said," I don't care what she says I'm not giving her a refund, she's a f****** liar, she doesn't know what she talking about so she should get over it." She went on for about 5 minutes, cursing and calling me out of my name. Then the front desk clerk joined in on the bashing. Once she realized I was still on the phone she hung up. I called back immediately to inform her I heard everything and then all of a sudden she sends me a email for a refund. She is not competent in her position. No customer should ever be talked about nor treated the way I was. She didn't just lose 1 account that day, she lost 9 for the massage envy brand. I give 1yr memberships to my employees as part of their Christmas bonuses every year. Now I will take my money elsewhere. She does not deserve a job in the customer service field. I do NOT recommend the Denton-Rayzor Ranch location at all!!! By far the filthiest service I have ever received in my life.
