Nice place to live, but management is horrible. Maintenance requests are always ignored, or if someone does show up they do a horrible job. Wasn't satisfied and moved out and was slapped with countless ridiculous charges, one of which being a "missing door". Tried to dispute the claims but was never given the time of day. Plenty of other nice complexs in there area, avoid this one.

I’m not happy. The property is nice, but resident accountability is questionable. Some people constantly walk their dogs off the leash which is dangerous. I reported this, but no results. There’s also a gentleman with intrusive and predatory behavior. He sits on the patio all the time and makes other residents feel uncomfortable by openly telling them he pays attention to when they leave their apartment. He’ll start an unprovoked conversation and makes it uncomfortable to walk by without sometimes yelling so you’ll talk to him. There’s children here that play and it’s concerning that he behaves this way. The maintenance is helpful, but it takes two days before they respond. Austin seems to be the one filling all the request. Overall the property is nice, but the residents can get away with anything.

I have lived here a little over 2 years now. The apartment has a nice layout and was clean upon moving in. The maintenance staff is very responsive. However, I have run into some problems with the complex. The rent will increase yearly, even if they have units with your same floor plan that are on the market for $200 less than what you are currently paying. When asked why rent was increasing if they have units that are open and going for less than what I was paying, the response was "that's just how it is".
My remote for the front gate became weaker over the past couple of weeks, meaning that instead of pulling up to the box at the gate and clicking the remote once to get in, I now have to hit the button 10-15 times for it to open. I went in to get the remote switched out for one with a better battery and they refused to give me another one. They walked out to the gate box, hit the button a few times, said it worked and gave it back. I tried to explain what was happening and that I was having to press the button way too many times to open the front gate, but they just told me that I wasn't close enough to the box, which is definitely not the problem.
Rent now has to be paid online. When I first moved in, you could pay in person with check, but since Bell Partners took over that is no longer an option. You have to pay online with a bank account, or pay the extra 3% to use your credit card. I had set up automatic payments for rent, but had a problem one month where they automatic payment did not go through. I received a call informing me that it did not go through 5 days later, in which they also added a 10% late fee to my rent. After a certain number of days, you also cannot pay online with your bank account and can only pay with your credit card. So they wanted me to pay my rent + 10% late fee + 3% on top of that for rent due to their system error. I called one of the ladies in the front office, who told me that she could take off the late fee since I had paid my rent on the 1st of the month every month for the past 2 years, but then told me the next day that she could no longer remove it and that I had to pay the amount due or else I would be evicted.
There are definitely far worse places to live, but just know that if you have any problems that aren't maintenance related and need to be taken care of by the office, you're just SOL.

Everything was smooth after a year. The only bad part was moving in to the nastiest apartment ever! Day one had to spend at least $150 cleaning the place that had the last tenants items, carpet, hair, food, and hair painted into the wall. Other than that, I would still recommend. The management was good.
Update: 1 day after posting this>>>
I have a $941 charge upon move out for a damaged microwave handle for 299.99 and various other charges. I guess we are going to court. See you in court Lodge at Pecan Creek!
WORST APARTMENT COMPLEX EVER. Do not move here. I recommend moving into The Village At Lakefront which has comparable prices and are WAY nicer!

I lived here for a while and loved it. Awesome location, super quiet even being near the highway. The staff is all so friendly and the complex is typically clean. The creek that runs by the complex is so cute too. Julia was amazing helping us find our apartment. Would definitely recommend!

Hidden gem in the DFW area. Quiet and serene but still with quick access to I35. This is the only apartment I’ve actually signed another lease in.
Julia in the front office is amazing and it’s a great part of my day just to drop and in and say hi. Everyone in the office is so friendly it makes living here feel like a little community.
The units themselves are nice and clean with a very efficient floor plan. Welcoming to all types of furniture.
Highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking to rent!

Melissa is amazing and made in moving experience so easy. Everything she told us that would need to be done with my apartment was done. The only complaint I have but I understand because they were short of staff is the trash all over and pet owners not picking up after their pets. Besides that I love my apartment. Neighbors are nice and it's quite. Maintaince is quick to fix things. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because of the trash and dumpsters always full and people not picking up after their pets.

Update 2: After being told there was no mold, then a review of the pictures before they painted over it with Killz, they have now cut out the moldy drywall and wood casing. The only repayment after all these months is they are having our vent work vacuumed out. Glad it's finally over and dealt with, but I'd prefer not to have waited nearly a year May 2023-February 2024. Nearly a year.Update: Spoke with manager Jennifer at 9:15am, I asked why was I paying rent on a black molded infested apartment and her response was, well you do have an apartment. She informed me they would be out immediately to look at the ceiling and begin work. When they did arrive at my apartment at 12, they informed us that the water and damage were caused by a leak from upstairs and not the ac (which we were told the leak had been caused by a clog in the ac line, which they state they fixed.) They also state that the black fuzz growing in our ceiling is not mold. I have not received an update on how they arrived at this decision. On May 19th I found black mold growing on the guest bathroom ceiling and the ac return was dripping rusty water. Maintenance found this was caused by a clog in the ac line. Over the past 8 months I have spoken to manager Jennifer and assistant manager Julia 8-10 times over my belief that there is still black mold in the ceiling. We've also gotten the run around waiting for the metal cover for our ac unit to be replaced, as it had rusted through. Maintenance finally came in today after another visit by me to the office. When they pulled down the cover, there is black mold growing throughout the 2x4s and drywall. A problem I identified as likely due to the visible mold 8 months ago. Still waiting on further word from manager Jennifer.
