I GOT MY MONEY BACK! ? $135.89This location is full of shady employees and LIARS! I had a no-fault claim and I chose Hertz for my car rental service. I picked up my repaired vehicle on a Friday at 5:30, and was not able to gas up the rental and return it by the time they closed at 6. Hertz charged me personally for the rental for the weekend because my insurance company (subrogation process) stopped paying that Friday. I called my insurance company to request coverage through the weekend, as it was not my fault Hertz was closed and had no after-hours drop-off service, and they called the location to verify. Some big man told State Farm they DO have after-hours drop-off, and that I could have called the body shop, dropped off the car, and left the keys with them. So my insurance company said they would not cover. I went in to the location, spoke to Ahmed Bah, the branch manager, and asked him why I was not notified of the after-hours drop-off. I showed him the 5-page document of terms and conditions that I signed and said there was no mention of the after-hours drop-off option. He looked at me like he couldn't understand the language I was speaking and asked me to repeat. I repeated my same question and then he said, "There is no after-hours drop-off option, so that's why it's not in that document." I asked him then how come this man (big man at the front desk) told my insurance company there was an after-hours drop-off option, so now they won't cover the cost. He just shrugged his shoulders. Some manager, alright. Absolutely no accountability for his representative lying to my insurance company. Avoid this place at all costs. Aso, I picked up the car at 1:30 pm on a Monday, took it back at 9 am on a Monday, and they're charging me for an extra day - 8 days total. Fraudulent. I wonder if the Better Business Bureau knows. I'll be going with Enterprise next time. ??♀️

This place is a total scam. They told my wife she had to add insurance on the car and when she asked if there were any other options the manager told her "No". So she added the insurance. 30 days later they presented me with a 1,000 dollar bill and charged my credit card when they said they would wait to hear from insurance. I am working on filing a claim in small claims court.

Max was awesome to us in taking care of an issue we encountered with another Hertz location. Max is the main reason why I'd consider utilizing Hertz down the line. Please promote this kind and lovely man, he's so grounded and kind. Encountered an issue with a prior rental that was out of our control, and Max went above and beyond to resolve the issue. Thank you Max for being the best!

Staff was friendly and was a quick in and out to get on the road. Only disappointment was some up front communication. Found out when picking up the vehicle that since I used a debit card to reserve the rental, they'd take and hold a $500 deposit until I returned the car 4 days later (plus the banking time to release those funds). Had I used a credit card to reserve the vehicle, there'd be no deposit required. Wasn't worth wasting time changing the booking and I was ready to get on the road, but hopefully that info might help someone in the future who doesn't want to or can't afford to have $500 placed in limbo.

Was told there were no cars available AFTER reserving the car. Ended up going to the enterprise down the street and they got me setup in a jiffy.

Horrible Service! Been overcharged for my rental with a smoking fee that I never smoked in. Rented quite a few times because I literally had no choice but this was the last time for me. I am in dispute with this location and another. HERTZ is cheap but for the customer service I would not recommend the Headache ? I’ve added what they charge me for. I am still awaiting their evidence and proof!

Before you rent a car from Hertz please read my review. I rented a car and got a parking violation notice and paid it right away but hertz again charged from my card (twice) because they have my credit card ? informations. I have been calling and emailing them but the issue has not been solved yet. They said 5 days but it’s been more than expected days.I am never gonna rent ANYTHING with HERTZ ever again!Sorry ?!

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. DO NOT GO HERE!! I’m not usually one to leave bad reviews but this was the worst experience and still no resolution. I would like to warn all so no one else has to go through this. Very long story, short - I was give a rental with low tire pressure (which quickly went completely flat), I was left to take care of that on my own when it wasn’t my fault to begin with, I was charged outrageous fees for “extended coverage” that I did not agree to past the first day, my card was also charged this large amount before telling me the total, they don’t give you the chance to read anything before signing documents and are absolutely no help resolving any of this as the store manager has no power once the account is closed (which they did again without telling me the total) and the “upper management” just ignores you and they never answers the phone or emails. This was the most horrendous experience and this is a warning so hopefully it doesn’t happen to you. These people have no idea what they’re doing and I recommend you find a different place to rent from.

Charged me twice.. you get charged weekly for how ever long you have the vehicle then at the end they charge you all of that a second time! Paid 2000$ for 4 weeks of rental which is over twice of what I owed

It took me 10 minutes to find the location as they did not hang a board. After I enter the person at the reception has a don't care attitude and unclean office. We were given a car which smells bad.

Max and Matt at Denton Hertz rental cars were the most professional and accommodating Staff we have dealt with ., We appreciate their service when the car we had gotten from them had mechanically failed they promptly came and replaced the car with one that was mechanically sound., we would confidently recommend those two employees any day they deserve an increase in pay that’s for sure., Thank you so much Max and Matt .

I have rented from them several times and I am pleasantly surprised by the great customer service I get from Max and his coworker will continue to rent from them for all of my needs
