I cannot say enough good about Guardian Pet Hospital and Lodge. Dr Paben and her staff are the best!!! They went above and beyond to save our lab when he was hit by a vehicle. They gave the best love and care to our Ray and also to us for the two and a half weeks he was in their care. They are so kind and explained everything and answered all questions. They are the greatest. If you are looking for a vet I highly recommend this one.

Grossly inappropriate behaviors on a few including Dr.It's MORE important for some to argue, go off , accuse, pet parents of hurting feelings of staff by simply carrying on a normal grown ups conversations.?huh?Being accountable, and following good universal procedures including cleaning, and accurate billing is essential to me that is .Ive been treated horrible since 1st visit because a problem staff member obviously is not a happy person & a select few are a target such as myself. When was this ever supposed to be about a pet parent & NOT the PET?This place is FULL of drama, and when by all rights should have put a suffering animal down , chose toallow her problem staff members to gossip, lie, and toyed with me as a pet parent by prolonging , neglecting and lieing about the care provided for pet a couple days before Christmas when there are a few here to care.If in fact IF she does have cameras that WORK - I would love to see the replay on how one of her staff members put me in fear of my life 2xs within days & was told by the vet callously, to call the police sarcastically the first time.I did not but I did the second time because I needed to have my pet removed and this person was drastically out of control making my request to move critical care cat from a numerous big loud dog kennel area to where I was told she would be in the exam room.Because the PET was & IS the priority I humbled myself and broken heartedly agreed to leave the pet only to find out soon after checking the next day she was NOT getting the care I was told I would get.I was lied to again that my pet was promised and the guy Starts with a f- that was supposed to be caring for said he wasn't gonna touch my pet then began verbally ranting & going off on me again.THIS TIME I DID CALLED THE POLICE.AND HE DISSAPEARED.COPS COULD NOT FIND HIM.ANYBODY INTRESTED I HAVE THE CASE #NEEDLESS TO SAY I REMOVED MY PET CHRISTMAS EVE AND THE STRESS FROM THIS PLACE LEFT IMMEDIATLY.THE HERO HERE IS ALICE- SHE DISONNECTED THE IV THAT WAS FINALLY TURNED ON ? HAVE ME FOOD MEDICINE & INSTRUCTIONS HIW TO OROVIDE CARE FOR PET TILL REXAMIMINATION DAYS LATER.THIS LADY WAS TRYING TO SPEND TIME WITH FAMILY AND CAME TO THE RESCUE AS MY TECH f DISSAPEARED FROM COPS BEING CALLED.NOW WE GOTTA WORRY ABOUT CRAZY AT A VET OFFICE?THANKS ALICE YOU SAVED KITTY FOR NOW.It took the vet days to take my call, and just like before, instead of answering the pet questions she craved drama by making excuses and blaming me FOR HER OWN RESPONSIBILITIES OF TRAINING HER STAFF AND A FEW THAT IT APPEARS IF THEIR EMOTIONS ARE SO GREAT THEY CAN'T HANDLE A NORMAL ADULT CONVERSATION WITHOUT STRESSING THEM OUT TO THE POINT OF A NORMAL CONVERSATION MAYBE IT'S NOT THE BEST FIT FOR ANY OF US ALL-in my opinion as there are no rules no certifications no real training, and it's just backfired on this place & the person's in charge of performing their daily task appropriately without grief to anyone especially their selves.I ve never ever been treated was such disrespect or disregard for my pets. When all this is from a poorly trained staff & no management, gossiping , careless , personal agendas , hyper emotional , excuse making agenda,...It was just a matter of time before the bridge fell down. Most these people here are great people and very caringAlice, Carmin, Kana, Kristy, the red head guy, Heather are awesome but if they were trained better they would definitely be able to climb the ladder quickly.NONE OF THIS IS YALLS FAULT-YALL ARE REALLY THE BEST THERE.To you guys and galsI'll miss you & so willSparkles and the crew.

ETA: They called me the next day (Sat) and provided me with the medication pick up option at the pet lodge, as well as apologized for not getting to me the day before. Very much appreciated. Rating changed to 4*I'm so disappointed. I did everything they asked me to do - spent a lot of money doing it. Then I waited and waited for a call with the bloodwork results, and it never came. Yesterday MORNING, I called and explained to the receptionist that my dog, Luna, is running out of meds and I have been waiting for the bloodwork results so they can refill her HEART MEDS. I was promised a call around 2 pm. NOTHING. Now my poor baby only has one day of meds left and it is a Holiday weekend. I won't be able to get her anything else since the vet and/or vet tech did not bother to call and/or/ issue me more medications. Very upsetting.

This place feels like a loving, down to earth, little, country home. They are so caring to both their human and animal guests. They give little party favor bags with your animals' medicines, gifts, and information when you leave. My dog got a cute christmas scarf one year. There is complete transparency. You can see exactly where your dog is kept and what goes on outside the sitting room. Their prices are reasonable and they always remember you and treat you with respect. There is a focus on what's important - not fancy furniture and offices, but healing the community. A hidden gem!

I found this vet a month ago because of a guinea pig we have that needed to see a vet. They were the first vet we contacted that said they could help. Since going the first time our experience has been so great that we are switching from our big box vet service for all of our pets. Guardian was not like all the small vets we’ve tried in the past they are great on cost and the service is second to none. Their staff is awesome and not once did I feel like we were just interfering with their day like we did at our other vet, not that the other vet didn’t give good care but it always felt so clinical. If you are looking for a vet that cares Guardian is the vet for you.We also ended off adopting a few cats from them via Feral Friends and their excitement about us rescuing the cats really highlight how much they truly care about animals. If you want a vet that cares look no further.

Used to enjoy this clinic but customer service has really gone down. I paid for tests to be done and has been more than a month and still no type of communication. Called to see if results were in and front lady said Doctor would call me and nothing, no voicemail even. Also kept calling my dog a girl when clearly he is a boy and I filled out he was a boy. Very unprofessional. Will not be coming back.

Affordable and reliable.I bring all my cats here to this vet! I was able to make same day appointments. Drop my cat off and do errands and pick them up afterwards. I definitely would recommend my fur parents to bring their fur babies here.

Good place. Nice staff and fair prices. And I love that they sell the chewable flea medicine singly. My old vet I had to buy them in a 6 pack.

They were so patient with me crying and scared for my furbaby. They took great care and the steps needed for him to feel comfortable. Tons of great communication and I'm so thankful they made time within 5 minutes of our call for him to come in. Definitely our favorite and go to. Thankyou again for helping Bentley. He's been great since

Our dog Dewey recently started having seizures this year, and we had to go out of town for the weekend so we took him here because they have vets on staff and we felt he would be well cared for there. But we were wrong. We dropped him off a healthy, happy boy. We had worked so hard for the past four months to regulate his medications with our vet. We had just weened him off his steroid and had reduced the need for medications from four to one (phenobarbital). It is very important for him to get his meds with his food at the same time, which we explained when we dropped him off. All the gains we had made in health were lost due to his stay at this facility. They called us two days after we left. Dewey is wobbly and we want to give him steroids. We explained we did not want him on steroids. We were coming home that night and picking him up the next day. They completely ignored our request and instead waited until they received confirmation from our vet that it would be okay to give him the steroid.Dewey was a wreck. Our typically calm, quiet dog was restless, peeing every hour in the house and pacing frantically around the home. He did not sleep that night. This persisted for days. We asked for his notes and records. They have generic tick boxes where they show he was fed and got his meds, but no details on when/what/how much. It is quite likely that he was "wobbly" because he was not receiving his medications properly. They set us back the four months we had recovered with his health in a weekend. We will never trust our dog to go to a facility because of how awful this experience was. Guardian Pet Hospital stopped responding to our requests for information and we are appalled that they would completely disregard our expertise as his primary caregiver and pet owner. They did not have our consent and they gave him a medication (which they also charged us for by the way). We incurred additional vet bills as we worked with our vet to get him back on track. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone after our experience.
