Assistant manager is absolutely horrid and should be demoted for how she talks with customers. Her poor employees even look scared of her. I’ve never met a woman as disrespectful as her. My friend was having a health episode and needed some privacy and tried to use the bathroom. There was no indication that the bathrooms were restricted initially and when I went to ask for my friend if we could get into one of the restrooms the poor employee hesitated and said I had to ask her manager on duty if it was allowed. So I informed the manager that my friend was having some health issues and needed to use the bathroom and she said no they were employee only restrooms. So I explained that my friend had a lot of health problems going on and was already by their bathrooms and if she could just have a couple of minutes. She then corrected me with an attitude saying that they did in fact have bathrooms yes but they were employees only bathrooms. Not for the public to use. So after her attitude I simply said if any kind of mess ends up happening I’m sorry and I went away to go check on my friend again. She raised her voice at me saying if there’s a mess it will be you being the one to clean it up. Which would be understandable but not with the attitude and raised voice she started getting and me trying not to give into her attitude I just replied with “yep” as I was still walking away since I needed to help my friend find somewhere else to go and check on herself. That was when this unprofessional manager decided rather than walking with me to even check out how my friend was doing, to instead scream over the aisles “I hope you know you dont just have a right to have a public bathroom MAAM” I was shocked that she yelled in the store. Our other friend who was three aisles away heard her loud and clear and couldn’t believe it was a manager talking like that. When my friend dealing with the health issues had a wave of relief she went up to her herself and reasked about the bathroom. To the managers luck she wasn’t rude to my obviously pale looking friend needing help she just said she couldn’t do anything about it because it was in fact the manager above her who made the rule and also mentioned it was a corporate thing not to let customers use the restroom, which I know for a fact it is not a corporate rule as my friend has been able to grab a key from other dollar trees in similar health episodes. Had any of this been made at any point clear to me when I asked for her it wouldn’t be as big of an issue to me. But the entire experience was uncalled for and extremely unprofessional. For anyone in a management position. The way that this lady chose to respond was absolutely disgusting and was just a poor excuse as a manager. I did not get any of the things I was going to buy because my friends health was more important to me and I will never be giving this place any of my money and plan to tell everyone I know in the area about this awful experience. I still would like the names of this assistant manager as well as the manager above her because I would love the chance to have a respectful conversation with a manager from this establishment.

Stopped for 2 things.
AAA BATTERIES & TO USE THE RESTROOM.
Didn't have any batteries and employee wouldn't allow me to use the restroom.

Overall a great selection of items and huge store, but I just left one of the worse experiences on customer service, keep in mind I also work at customer service, but today I felt so bad for being Hispanic in this wonderful country, and being treated so horrible by a Hispanic employee in this store. I hope am the only one that has experience this treatment, horrible customer service and the shift supervisor didn't care either.

The employees are always very kind but there is frequently expired food on the shelves. I have accidentally bought things that are over 4 months old before.

Cute stuff, rude employee. I went to look at the christmas stuff with my mom and all was well until the checkout line, this employee named isabel (saw her name tag) sent the lady in front of us home with six thin glass cups in a single bag with no paper. Then when it was our turn she was rude and just tossed out stuff in the bag not caring if it broke.

Me and dollar tree have a love hate thing going on. I always go in for like 2 or 3 things and leave with like 30 bucks of stuff lol. Always has what you need though!
