This place feels like walking into an Italian market. The food is authentic with family recipes. All of the items for sale are real Italian brands and not what you can find on the shelves of your typical American supermarket. Highly recommend!

Good food. A bit pricey and the hoagie bread was not great. Overall still really good though.

Update: That evening the owner reached out to rectify my poor experience. There were a few things miscommunicated and they truly care that their customers leave happy. Once I finally tasted the food I was happy I went through all the trouble because it really was delicious. I would go back.
Original complaint:
Very bad experience. Spent $250 on catering and after speaking with “Dusty” it felt like I was inconveniencing them by making the order. The girl on the phone explained a dish incorrectly which made my guests have less food. Made it home without dressing for our salad and noodles for our chicken parm and nothing was done to remedy the situation. Would not recommend

I have been frequenting Di Abruzzo for sometime now. I have always had the most amazing experiences, and I am ruined for life when it comes to tiramisu thanks to them. A couple of nights ago. My friend came over for a girls night and picked up some meat to go with our cheese board. Whoever was behind the counter was so sweet and gave us the most amazing cuts of meat for a VERY reasonable price. Their sandwiches are to die for and to top it all off, the staff are all so sweet. Denton is lucky to have them!

As a small Italian market with a broad selection of hard-to-find food items and wines and spices and breads, I would give this a solid 4 and a half stars. As a deli for lunch, I would have to rate it a low 3 stars. We were in the area running errands and stopped in for lunch. I ordered the Sausage and Peppers Hoggie and my wife ordered the Caprese Sandwich. I thought both were a bit on the pricy side, but went for it. We then went over to the drink case to get drinks. I got the blood orange and black raspberry San Pellegrino and my wife had A’ Siciliana Blood Orange drink. Her drink was $4 more but “less commercial.” Not worth the price difference at all. Stick with the brand available just about anywhere, but go for the unique flavor. We also wandered around the store while waiting for out food. Fun to just look at all of the products and different olive oils and balsamic vinegars and other items not usually found around here. Before our next Italian dinner party, this will be our first stop. When the food arrived, both sandwiches were very good size, but not giant. And, for the prices, some chips on the side would have been welcome. My wife described her sandwich as “good” but not anything out of the ordinary. I had selected mine because of the sausage and then the giant sign on the wall saying Homemade Sausage. I found the sausage bland and flavorless and my peppers overcooked. The entire sandwich was absolutely dripping with grease. The sandwich could have used some sauce or condiment offering because it needed it to pump up any flavor. The bread was fresh and excellent. Service was good and friendly, and the restaurant was clean. So, the final conclusion is I would not eat here again, but would shop here again.

Ordered the double meat Italian sandwich, and it was really good. Enough for two meals, which is good because it was about $20. Nice quality of meat, cheese, and bread.

This is another adorable gem in Denton, offering incredible deli selections and a fantastic Italian market! They also cater—I ordered from them for my mom’s birthday, and they did an amazing job!

Excellent choice in all grocery items. Got some great dough to make pizzas, ravioli for another night and sauce to go with it all. That Italian sub on homemade bread was the absolute bomb! Will continue to go back! Ask for Victor and tell him Viktor sent ya!!

Diamond in the rough....outside looks like a sleazy Italian. But don't be fooled. Only a few tables on inside so limited seating, the home made pasta and meatballs are fantastic. Great value for money. Food quality is great, service was stela. Exceeded expectations. You can also take many items to go, and find unique Italian ingredients for your pantry.
