I stayed for 2 weeks and on my second day I seen 2 big cockroach in my room on the wall. So I got rid of them and couples days later I seen more in my room. There was no need to switch rooms if this whole place is infested with bugs and cockroach! Stay away. Don't recommend
Rooms: Infested

We were there for an appointment at the Baylor Scott and White Heart hospital. We were pleased with the staff and attitude. The only thing we did not get was our gift at checking.

Courtyard Denton is my go to hotel when I'm in Denton around Christmas time. Customer service is always good, if something is not right they are always willing to correct the issue. Great hotel to stay in. Rooms are always clean.

If you’re looking to sleep on a slab of concrete, you’ve come to the right place. I’m typing this from my bed, as I’m quite sure I’ll get 0 sleep tonight.
2 stars because the service was decent and the rooms are clean. But, the mattress situation is absolutely wild.

Great stay!
Rooms: I got a king room and loved that it had a sitting area with a couch (with pull out bed). I loved that the bathroom had a bathtub! My room was clean and quiet.

First, the good. The hotel is clean and well-kept. My room was very clean- I had no concerns. Breakfast was great the last two days. I bonded with the server and cook those last two days after a little misunderstanding with the bistro manager. I'll just say he fixed it and the young women more than made up for it with excellent service and friendliness. Front desk staff were generally friendly (didn't interact too much), except for when I initially checked in.
So, now for the not-so-good. I arrived at this Courtyard after 2AM after being in transit for over 12 hours, just having left the Springhill because they had no hot water, and really needing to grab a shower and a few hours sleep before having to be at work for 7:30AM. I was met by Matthew (note that I didn't say greeted). He checked me in and while he was doing so, I offered to provide him with my Bonvoy # so that he could provide me with any upgrades/bonuses, as may have been available.
Matthew let me know that he would get my Bonvoy number at the end (after he checked me in) because he could only do one thing at a time. He finished checking me in and even provided me with a completed tax-exemption form for my signature. That was very much appreciated. He handed me my room keys and sent me on my way. I wasn't offered anything for my elite membership; not even the bottle of water from under the back counter that is usually provided to guests.
Before leaving the front desk, however, I did inquire about free breakfast and I was told that I could get $10 daily to spend at the bistro. Better than nothing, I suppose. I also asked Matthew if he was aware that I get a survey after my stay and he said that he was. I asked if he knew that I'd be asked if I felt valued as a Bonvoy member and he again said that he was aware and asked if I felt valued. I told him that I didn't and explained why. His response was that he was sorry but he had a lot going on.
I can appreciate the hour of our interaction and even that he may have had a very trying day, but so did I and mine even included sitting in a plane on the tarmac for 1.5 hours waiting to takeoff after a 3-hour delay and followed by an extended flight (to go around the weather).
I do also want to recognize that Matthew may be an individual with special considerations (I won't say needs because he was clearly very functional and if I'm making an incorrect assumption, I apologize sincerely). If this is the case, I am very grateful for his assistance, however, the things that I've come to expect when checking into a Marriott hotel, and some being very basic, like a warm greeting and a bottle or cup of water, should not be overlooked.
Rooms: Very clean!
Food & drinks: The breakfast bowl is an excellent choice.

Wonderful staff, great room, quiet hotel, everything we were looking for after our previous stays at another Marriott property in Denton were slowly going downhill. The only complaint was that we reserved a King bed but received two Queen beds but, given everything that was happening in the DFW Metroplex over that weekend (and when we checked in) I can understand. We definitely will be staying here again.

Great hotel. Amazing staff. Mr. Hector and Mr. Pedro at the front were A+ with any and all my questions! Ms. Andrea in the Bistro went above and behind. One of the best Courtyards I've ever stayed at!
