This is not going to be a positive review but the Denton Service center still has the ability to improve their review from the worst service i've ever received at a dealership to ok service. I scheduled an appointment for Friday 11-24 at 8 am and dropped my truck off to get 2 recalls done. I was told they would need to keep it overnight but it would be back to me Saturday. Shortly after i left i got a text from the service department saying they would answer any questions i had over text or i could call. I text them back at 1 pm Saturday asking for an update. After 2 hours of waiting for a response i called them to check on my truck. I was told that it was taking longer than they planned and i could pick it up Monday instead. Monday morning 11-27 at 1000 i received a call from the service center apologizing, they claimed they hadn't done any work on my truck over the weekend because there had been a lapse in communication but they would get to it today to fix. At 5 pm i get a call saying my truck was ready to be picked up, one of the two recalls still had to be performed but they didn't have the part in stock so they had to order it and would let me know when the part was in.When i got to the dealership i was given my keys after some digging but the woman in the service department didn't know where it was parked so i was told to just wander around hitting the horn button until i found it.The only way i will be coming back to this dealership to get the recall completed is if i get a loaner vehicle, an agreement that they'll pay for a rental for me, or if either of those options don't work they can have the part delivered to another Ram service center and i'll get the work done there instead. This has been the single worst dealership service interaction i have ever had. If someone at the dealership reads this and feels like following up with me i encourage you to contact me. I've given enough details in this review for you to figure out who i am. If there is a follow up i will come back to update this review.

Until recently, I would have given Denton Dodge 5 stars, but I can't get them to fix a problem. I had great experience in the process of purchasing vehicles, but they made a mistake a couple of months ago with a license plate registered to me and it has had me in a difficult situation for 5 months now. I traded my Ram in for a used Ford (don't judge me) that I had intended to give my son, but the first weekend I had that truck on the road with a trailer (empty 95% of the time), the truck was throwing all sorts of signs it had a powertrain problem. After deliberating what to do and discussing it with the dealership, they took the truck back and I went back to a Ram. They made it easy and I would have happily recommended them to anyone and made them my dealer of choice for all future vehicle purchases. However, the plate situation with the Ford has resulted in me getting collection letters from the toll authority for tolls I did not incur, and I cannot seem to get a response to get the information I need to clear the matter and stop the collection letters. The story I got from Denton Dodge was that when they received my plates for the Ford, they also got several others in that were numerically very similar, but, by mistake, they issued my plates to the wrong customer. I had no idea the plates had been issued to anyone at all because when I returned the Ford, it still had paper plates on it, and I was not notified that any plates had come in for me. For a month, my plates were on the other vehicle, and that customer used lots of toll roads. I only found out about the plates when I started getting bills for their tolls. I have been back and forth with NTTA about the problem and they can clearly see in their cameras that the plates are on a small white car, not the big black truck that the plates were registered to. But, in order for them to remove the tolls from my account, they require a letter on letterhead from Denton Dodge explaining the situation and providing information about the other customer so they can charge the tolls to the right customer. By the time Denton Dodge was notified and got the other customer the correct plates, they had been running toll roads for almost 6 weeks and the toll charges were coming to me. I have had several email and phone conversations with my salesman, Myman Alchaar, the used car sales manager, Rob Hay, and two weeks ago, I started including the general manager for the dealership, Walter Adams, in the conversations. This whole matter started back in May 2023, and as of the first week of November, I am still trying to get resolution to the situation that they put me in. The problem is not happening to them, so they are not giving it much attention, and unfortunately, I cannot fix the problem on my own (I've tried) because NTTA requires explanation from the dealership to prove the plates were not stolen and I was not fraudulently using them. I will say that my sales experience with Myman was fantastic and he, along with several people in the sale process, made me feel like I was dealing with family. I could not have asked for better. Yet, while that speaks a lot to what a dealership should be, that's where the praise stops. You will be treated like family as long as they are getting your money, but if you need much else from them, you become an after thought, even when your problem is their fault. I won't get Into the details of an issue with the last truck I bought that they basically told me (paraphrasing) before I left that 'the problem was too much for them to deal with, so just file it with the warranty company after 30 days and you can get it fixed then' because I think the collection letters and the license plate situation are enough. I hope no one else has these kinds of problems. I really thought they were a great dealership until all of this. At the end of the day, they are just another dealership and you are just the bottom line to them. Still waiting for that letter...

My husband and I purchased a 2016 Jeep Wrangler on June 28, 2023 and paid in cash. On August 25th we spoke to Don Stearns because we had not received our plates and our tag was about to expire. He emailed us a new tag and said we should have the title in a couple of weeks. We called back 3 weeks later because we still had no title and he gave us another excuse and said we should have the title in a couple more weeks. We filed a complaint with the Tx DMV. Even after that investigator contacted the dealership, we still have not heard a word from anyone and are going on 120 days with no title. We have now filed a complaint with the attorney general's office. Some honest communication would have gone a long way but obviously no one there cares.

Absolutely do NOT bring your car to this dealership for maintenance. My car has 20k miles on it. At 19k my car was taken to the shop because every light you can think of popped up on my dash. It was here for a week in which the manager gave me a rental no problem and it was fixed. Flash forward to now and the problem starts once again. Both the old manager and tech I used left the dealership and the new one REFUSED to put me in a rental until my car was diagnosed. My car was at their dealership for TWO WEEKS before being looked at. Which ok whatever, then after that time frame it's been 3 days of "we don't know what's wrong with your car all it shows it stored codes" and "we can't do anything until it happens while here" needless to say, they can't fix it. Which btw I ALSO have a transmission leak that I was told "is not leaking enough" to be fixed . I don't even believe they took it out and looked at it considering it didn't even have a service tag or number. My car has been back with me for 24 hours. In which my fiancé Nathen ALREADY found the problem and what needs to be done to fix it but who exactly wants to pay to fix their car when it's brand new and had 20k miles?. It wouldn't be as much of an inconvenience if I was taken care of and put into a rental so I'm able to get things done bc who exactly can just not have a car? Tbh I should sit here and send them the damn bill after Nate fixes it in 2 mins.

Jon curfman at Denton Dodge was the worst salesman Ive ever spoken too. He wasted my time and the company's time. HORRIBLE communication and attitude. I'd avoid him if you're looking for a car.

Chris Popp, thank you for helping me and being patient(Im a pain in the but). This guy went way out of his way, passed hours right at closing time to locate parts. Once we were able to be find the parts in the computer but not able to source through them he still helped me with locating the freeze plug dimensions to try to find an alternative source. I couldn't actually buy because parts were a week out, he still stuck with me going way out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. Lets go Chris Popp!

Jorge was great to work with on buying a new truck. If you plan on buying a new vehicle, call Denton, TX CDJR, a call.

Only a 4 star because of Toni (the parts manager). Totally terrible experience until she stepped in and saved the day for me, took the bad taste out of my mouth and was pleasant to work with.

$695 for the Denton Protection package "the $695 is a CALTEX Resistall product on all of our new vehicles across our company. That product is applied to the vehicles when they are taken off the transport truck at he lot."They don't do anything to the cars when they are taken off the transport truck. This is a scam for $695. total BS. Watchout for these people.

I took my car to Denton Chrysler back in November 2022. The communication was horrible and after various excuses about why some things still were not completed, I finally picked up the car at the end of December. I was told two parts had been ordered (and I was charged already) but hadn't come in yet. I checked weekly in January but with no word back. Finally, I was told they were in...this was February. I was also told my previous contact was no longer with the company. I was called (first time for them to reach out to me) and told it was ready to pick up. I went to pick it up and only one of the two items was completed. I asked about the other and the guy said he didn't know about it (I let him know HE was the one I talked to the previous week who said THAT part was in and they were ready to install it). After having ~$3,000 of services done and it taking essentially almost 3 months, and horrible customer service, they offered me $50 off and called it a day. I was hoping to find a place for my new to me car for future service but instead I will not only never use them again, I will be letting everyone who asks, don't ever take your car here!

Ok, I've never done a review of a dealership before, but the poor service of the "service" department has lead me to do so. I have a 2008 jeep with a bumper to bumper lifetime warranty and have a transmission leak that is covered by the warranty. It has now been 4 weeks and it is still in the shop and I've been out $800 on rentals to date. No offer of a loaner car or assistance with a rental and only lies from the GM Walter Adams. I live alone and thankfully am able to work from home, but really have to get out on the weekends. This is a 2 day fix and I'm now at day 30 and still no car! I don't care if I have to drive to Frisco. They will never get my business again and I will warn anyone from ever visiting this dealership.
