Carmax offers the best trade in price. Don't bring your car to dealership, they will lowball as much as they can. As long as you truthfully put your car condition and info on their site, bring it in for photos and appraisal, then you off to go. This young gentleman named Brody was super nice and polite who walked me through everything when I dropped my car off. Took total 30 minutes to have the check in my hand. They truly offer the best, seamless experience for sellers.

After a nightmare experience with Carvana, Carmax was 10x better than them. Super smooth, easy selling experience. They even called a Lyft for me to get a ride home!

I ALLEGEDLY purchased a 2030 Dodge Challenger scat pack from them ONLY to have a UNPAID PRIOR LEIN on it! I paid 1k to have it shipped, and was driving it for 5 months before the repo company came and got it! It has inconvenienced me.so badly you wouldn't believe it! I HAVE NO CAR, NO 4K down payment or 1300 I put in an aftermarket alarm system! Read the reviews BEFORE PURCHASING IM STILL WITHOUT A CAR AND ITS BEEN A MONTH NOW

Sold my call to CarMax and they arranged a time for me to come in for the sale. When I got there, the paper was ready and I was done in 20 minutes. I would recommend them if you are selling or trading in your car.

We recently traded in our Rav4 and purchased a truck through CarMax. We settled on a 2021 Silverado and immediately fell in love with the truck. We had it shipped to the Denton location and were able to schedule a full 24-hour test drive. The buying process was extremely easy and nowhere near as stressful as buying a vehicle at a regular dealership.
CarMax also offered us over $1000 more in trade-in value when compared to the Toyota Dealership next door where we purchased our Rav4. We also had a few things that needed to be repaired on the truck, and CarMax was very responsive, and we received no pushbacks on all our repair requests. I highly recommend taking a look at what CarMax has to offer if you are looking for a vehicle.

Really can’t recommend this place. My experience at the location was great but I’ve had nothing but problems since my purchase. The issue that I was made aware of when purchasing my car was a tear in the side of the seat which they claimed the new seat was on the way and would contact me once it arrived. I never received that call and still have the massive tear in the seat. The car’s hood latch doesn’t work and I pointed it out before purchase and was ensured everything was fixed once their guy took it around back. It’s not fixed and still doesn’t work. There seemed to be a slight oil leak just a month after purchase but that has subsided. Now not even 6 months into ownership the brakes need to be replaced. So if you don’t mind getting a beater at new prices I guess this is the spot.

I could write a short story about all the forces of chaos that bounded about in our attempts to replace are vehicle. Carmax remained unruffled and eminently helpful and kind during their chapters. I cannot recommend them enough if you are looking for a new vehicle. At every opportunity they have been the best experience. Above and beyond.
