Picked up my car; drove 3 blocks and realized the a/c did not work. I brought it back and they replaced the a/c unit. Picked up again 2 days later.

Mostly good…. People were friendly…. Biggest issue: when we came to get the car it had a cracked windshield…. CARMAX scheduled. repair through Safelite…. After much back and forth and a wasted drive to Safelite the repair was finally complete…. Should’ve been noticed and dealt with before we arrived for pickup. Phone communication is difficult to impossible with computer phone assistants and when you get a live person you have to re-explain yourself to each person.

CarMax is always a rip off, especially this one in Denton. I can find the same exact car, miles, even color, trim etc and this CarMax will list it almost $8,000 more. Who cares about the service! The prices are whack!

I am underwhelmed with CarMax.
I ordered a car to come in to Denton, to test drive & buy, less than 100 miles away.
The vehicle arrived in a timely manner & has sat at the dealership for 8 days.
No calls, no information.
Crickets.
I called this morning & found out CarMax does not have the title. Yep. They advertised a car on their website, don't own it and the Denton Dealership did not bother to notify me there was an issue.
I had to call and find out all on my own.
Dishonest, unprofessional & dirty.
I want nothing to do with this dealership EVER again !!

Had a really great experience here and got the exact car I wanted! Dion was great! I had the car shipped from Birmingham, Ala.; it took about a week. During that time, I did the pre-approval for financing, which saved a bunch of time at the dealership. All in all, with test drive and everything, I was in and out in 2 hours. No upsell, no pressure.

My wife and I do not buy new cars, and we haven't bought a car since 2015. We paid to have a car shipped to our local CarMax. The service at the Denton, TX location was awesome! The staff answered all our questions. We has some concerns about potential repairs on our test drive so the put in a repair order on the same day we bought it. They have communicated amazingly well via text, calls, and emails. Will definitely shop CarMax again. Great experience.

Surprisingly, overall pleasant experience. No pressure. The return policy, warranty and after sale support, removes much of the worry and risk of purchasing a used vehicle. I would use Carmax again.

I have bought many cars from car max, my first was back in 2007 and I'm driving my 5th now. I recommend getting the CarMax warranty it has payed off for me.

They gave me a really good cash offer on my truck even though it was beat up and older. Shopped for cars while there but didn’t end up buying from them. Fawad, Muntii, & Toast were all excellent help and provided wonderful customer service, great attitudes, and were very informative. I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone
