I lived here for two years. Cody is great and always answers your calls and texts quickly. I never had to wait more than 24 hours for a fix or repair, of which I had very few. It’s the perfect location—walking distance to the square and Quakertown Park is right across the street. Rent prices are fair and the units are in good condition. Loved it here!

This place is on the small side for a couple but definitely the place for humble beginnings. No pest problems, maintenance requests were always worked in a very timely manner and landlord/maintenance worker Cody is the Saint of all landlords is the best way I could put it. If you want your problem fixed in the most cut and dry simple way I assure to come to Bellmere. I do severely miss how well management was handled here, especially being it was primarily full of students as residents from what I could tell. The major downside I’d say is just this place becomes the hotspot for parking for the annual jazz fest across the street, that is all. Who cares about bushes or trees, it didn’t ruin my quality of living here.

I lived in Apartment 26 for ~3 years.Amenities: The unit I rented was a 2 story townhome styled apartment with 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom with a shower & bathtub, and 1 guest bathroom. It included a washer & dryer.Maintenance: The assistant manager, Cody, always had the maintenance come the same day as the complaint. The latest it took for the issue to be resolved is 1 day. Pest control also comes regularly.Aesthetics: The building is more aesthetically pleasing than its surrounding competition. However, the grass & bushes are poorly maintained. The interior can also be modernized from the yellow wood to a darker one.Noise Levels: There are train tracks right behind these apartments, so you will hear a very loud train blow its horn 1 to 2 times a day.Concerns: It took 5+ months and a Security Deposit Demand Letter for me to get my security deposit back. The reason was because Greg, the manager, put my address in the check wrong 2x and it kept being sent to the wrong destination. Upon learning of this, Greg asked me to pay $30 in order for him to mail a 3rd check. I declined, and instead sent a demand letter. For context, I always paid a years worth of rent & utilities in advance each year that I stayed. So I always stayed 12 months ahead of my rent. I also had 0 complaints made against me, so I was a good tenant throughout the time I stayed here.In Texas, if a security deposit isn’t returned in 30 days of moving out, you can send a demand letter. If they refuse to pay within 10 days of the letter being sent, you get 3x the security deposit and your attorney fees covered. I highly recommend looking into this if your security deposit has been with held from you.Overall I would have rated this apartment 5?, however the ongoing back and forth between Greg & I in order to receive my deposit back was unprofessional, unethical, and 100% lazy on their end. It’s clear that whatever Cody is in control of, he handles professionally. However, Greg lacks this professionalism & doesn’t take accountability over his own mistakes until legal action is threatened.

I absolutely loved my unit at this property. The owner Cody was such a big help! Overall great guy! Maintenance was quick. Very *AFFORDABLE* & spacious townhome apartments with washer & dryer included. That’s so hard to find in today’s market. Great neighborhood, park with a walking trail directly across the street, minutes away from UNT & TWU, friendly neighbors. This place definitely served it’s purpose for this time of my life, I only moved because of job relocation.

They lie to you and try to take your money when you move out. You could leave your apartment in perfect condition and they refuse to return your deposit. They take forever to fix things and the units need work! Stay away from this place if you can.

Visiting a friend here. Parking spaces need fixed, you get out into huge puddles of water.

My husband and I lived here for three years and absolutely loved our time here. It’s in an amazing location that’s extremely walkable. We walked to the square, restaurants, bars, etc, and got to enjoy the park that’s right across the street. Any issues we ever had were resolved by Cody as quickly as possible. Most apartments are difficult to live in since the office staff doesn’t care to know who you are. Cody knew both of us by name and always made us feel so welcome at this complex. To top it off, it’s extremely affordable for the prime location it’s in. By far the best apartment I’ve lived in and would definitely recommend any of my friends to live here!
