“I don’t personally bank with this institution, but I would think if I changed from my current banker, I would definitely consider point bank. I was given a check from someone today and had to go cash it at point bank, when I walked in the door of the location on IH 35 and Teasley, in Denton, Texas I was promptly greeted with four friendly hellos, And four people inside waiting to help me out. Good customer service is kind of hard to come by these days in my personal opinion, but these guys did an exceptional job, and if you are an executive for Point Bank reading this, I highly encourage you make sure you retain these valuable assets for your organization. “BB&T has the best rates on auto loans and this location has the nicest, most knowledgeable staff (the branch manager, Sam, is the best). If you have financed a used car and used the dealership to find you the "best" rate, then unless you are a manager at the car dealership, you did not get the best rate you qualified for. The finance manager gets a rate back and then adds extra points to it in order to make more money for the dealership. BB&T does *not* do this so whatever rate you qualify for, they'll give you. The dealership where I was shopping at told me that the best rate they could give me was in the high 3's due to the type of vehicle I was buying. I knew this was a load of poo so I called Sam at BB&T and asked her to see what rates they could get me. They got me 2.05% on my used car. The dealership, of course, started backpedaling and saying they were somehow able to match it (meaning they could have gotten it for that rate all along but they were trying to make additional money from me). If you currently have a vehicle financed and are curious if you're paying too much interest, call Sam at BB&T. If you know your credit score, Sam can give you an idea of the rate you'd qualify for, and then if you would like to proceed, she can run your credit to finalize the deal. Sam was quick and responsive and really knew what she was talking about. Just one point of interest can save you over a thousand dollars over five years. It's definitely worth a phone call to check with Sam on rates. You could end up saving thousands of dollars like I did!”

“A couple of days ago I needed a simple name change and I walked in the front desk told me to sign the clipboard and someone would help me. So I signed in and not even 2 minutes later Khushbu (Forgive me, I may have spelt it wrong) walked over and asked if I had an appointment with a specific agent and I explained that I just needed a name change and she said she could help me with it and not even 10 minutes later she had my name changed and all my questions answered. “I was with NorthStar for some years when it became Independent Bank of Texas and now as it has evolved into Independent Financial. I have always received good service. I've never really run into any problems. They have been responsive when I've had needs or questions. And I don't know who said they closed at noon, but they don't. Different branch lobbies close anywhere from 3pm - 6pm. Just call. No biggie.”

“I have banked here since 2002 and have had a FANTASTIC experience. The level of customer service has always been superior to any other bank I've done business with. One shout out to Ralph Ramsey. When I paid off my home mortgage I was running late on a Friday afternoon and couldn't make it before the lobby closed to get a cashier's check. Ralph made sure I was able to get the cashier's check (no charge) even after hours. Ralph Rocks! Another thing that is super handy is the pass through box. I deal with a lot of coin and the drive through tube can't always accommodate the weight. They gave me a key to a pass though box where I can make deposits without coming inside. If you are a small business or individual I highly recommend this bank. They are willing to go above and beyond to earn your business.”

“I have been going to this location longer than any other location and they have always been great! They are in a fairly convenient location, accessible from University, Sunset and Carroll. If traffic keeps you from turning from Carroll, there is a light between the Kroger shopping center and Sunset. You can also enter through the Auto Zone on University and the parking lot takes you straight back to here. This is one of the few locations that I have always seen at least 2 people working the drive thru windows every time I've come through. They also have 2 ATM lanes and though they stay busy, they are moving at a decent rate. Though these machines aren't brand new, they are well maintained, are rarely down and never stick or freeze. These are a very dependable option anytime you are in the area. The staff inside has always been friendly too, but like most people I prefer to keep these types of errands to the drive thru so I can get on with my day. I have had several times where I had to go in to handle some business and it runs a little slower in there, but still faster than other locations. The building is starting to show some age on the outside, but no more than any other in the area. The inside and drive thru are well maintained.”

“Been a Wells customer since 2004. A couple years ago I came here due to the terrible service of the Wells Fargo Corinth location and haven't looked back. East to get to, courteous, fast and pleasant tellers every time I've come here. The swisher road construction has made it a bit of a pain recently but now that's done and there's no reason to go to the Corinth location and deal with those pompous, unpleasant tyrants. This seems to be a well run, customer friendly location”
