Dr. Bradley took excellent care of our chihuahua, Lily. She was placed in an oxygen cubicle immediately upon arriving before paperwork. All the staff members were so kind, especially Cheryl, at the desk. The intake nurse was especially kind. When we put Lily down both Dr. Bradley and the nurse on at 6am were especially compassionate and explained thoroughly Lily’s condition letting us make the decision to euthanize. Lily was handled gently and with care.

This place cares about one thing, money. They know they are the only location open and that people are desperate to save their beloved animals and they take full advantage of that. Someone has to pay for the seven employees standing around doing nothing at 10PM. I have never had a vet refuse to see my dog until I called animal poison control first (which cost $95) then guesstimate a $1000 (no refunds if treatment changes and it says the bill could increase) bill and make you pay it before your animal is even treated. Not to mention they close at 7am, so even if your dog needs further treatment you have to come and get them and take them somewhere else and it’s almost $100 for every 30 mins your pet is there past 7am. Oh and don’t forget the 3.5% fee they slap you with when you use a card to pay. They sent us away with no information, how our dogs eating habits should be after the fact, how long before she is back to normal, what to expect, nothing because they knew nothing. That’s why we had to call poison control because they knew absolutely nothing. I would recommend going literally anywhere else.

very knowledgeable staff, on site radiology and labs. My only issue was they close at 7:00am and you must pick up your pet by then and take them to your vet. It's understandable as they are only emergency services but still nerve wracking to transport your very sick pup.

Fantastic emergency room!! The entire staff are just fantastic and Dr. Franklin is amazing! You can tell that they do it because they really care about the animals. They were quick and efficient and the pricing is extremely fair. I’ve gone to other emergency vet clinics and they charge outrageous fees. But Grayson is extremely fairly priced. And they even called the next day to check on my dog and make sure she was doing ok. I highly recommend them for any after hours emergency for your pet!!

I took my fur baby to Grayson County Animal Emergency, and they recognized her critical condition and began treating her before I even gave them my name. They were kind and compassionate and did not push me to spend extra money on false hope. Even though I walked out alone, the staff made it as easy for me as they possibly could.

They did the bare minimum for a non bare minimum price. They are terribly slow so I feel bad for anyone with a real emergency. They charge enough to afford more staffing, let’s not even talk about the 3.5% fee if using a CC.
Unfortunately their job seems to be get them in, diagnose quickly, provide no real information, and tell you to talk to your regular vet during their regular business hours. I basically left with some meds and a lighter wallet, but no real answers.

This crew deserves more than 5 stars. We had an emergency late at night. Our poodle was attacked by a large dog. They kept him over night and sewed him up. And they kept me calm! He is back to his old self. Thank you so much. They called to check on him too.

We showed up at 2:00 am on a Monday morning. Our concerns were addressed. The dog was stable enough to make it until seeing his regular Vet later in the day. They didn’t push any procedures on us. Friendly. Reasonable prices for an Emergency Vet. Wouldn’t hesitate to use again if needed. We drove home with peace of mind. Our precious boy is fine!

Professional and empathetic staff. We felt very cared for from the first phone call, to treatment, to leaving with our cat. Although we were worried about our cat, we felt in very good hands with GC Animal Emergency Clinic! (although we hope not to see them too soon lol!)

I took my dog, Huck, here because his leg swelled over night and he was unable to walk and was shaking due to pain. He ended up having a fever as well. They recommended admitting him for 3 days for IV fluids and antibiotics. Each staff member I dealt with was extremely personable and pleasant to encounter with. They answered all of my questions and left nothing unchecked. He ended up getting discharged early and I was refunded almost half of the amount. Their prices are extremely affordable as well! Shout out to Brenna the receptionist, Whitney, Jackie, Courtney, Brooke, Katy, and Dr. Eddings for taking such great care of our boy. 10/10 recommend.
