Since they have remodeled, they no longer appear to be about helping the community, at least on Wednesdays when I typically go. There is a shorter lady with short gray hair that works there who has just become flat out unpleasant. The children's books that were a dime are 50 cents and a dollar now while at community thrift they are all only a quarter still and every time I get any kind of baby clothes she tries to charge me a dollar even though it says 50 cents. Also has tried to overcharge me for other children's clothes which were not new ones with tags to where they had a reason to be more expensive. Before they remodeled they were about helping the community and especially people who were low income and now it is more about just making money, which is unfortunate since they are supposed to be service to the community.I have been a long time shopper here but this will be my last visit as I'm tired of the unpleasantness of this particular lady and they're rising prices which are going to be soon on par with goodwills, who sent us for me Goodwill bourique, which has raised prices quite a bit.

An amazing thrift find that continues to support the community. This is a great place to drop off good quality clothes that you no longer need because you know it’s going to someone who wants it at a very affordable price. The volunteers here are all so very kind and helpful with finding what you need and are always sure to tell you what the deals of the day are. They are always fully stocked with great stuff!

We stumbled upon this while roaming in Denison. Although I didn't buy anything this time I highly recommend everyone swing by if you're in town. It's a start at just a quarter - who knew our quarters were still worth something?? I can't say all items were in pristine conditions but for the price you can't complain. Plus this is way more sustainable than everyone going out and buying new clothes all the time. It's cash only and many customers bought bags and bags of stuff which is nice!
