Typical ACE hardware. Some hard to find items not available in the big box. Extremely helpful, friendly staff. Treat them as you want to be treated. They take their security seriously so don't be offended at the signs and the controlled entry and exit paths. Look, it's better than having everything locked up. Being that most Ace hardware stores are franchises they cannot afford the petty theft so rampant these days. Online inventory needs some work as it's not always accurate.

Major customer service fail.
Wyfe went into the local Ace looking for a few things. Another customer was walking around looking for things also. He mistook my wyfe as an employee after asking about a product location question. He had no idea where it was, so the loving wyfe walked him over to the location and also suggested looking in the trailer section for a secondary placement of the product in question. As a customer, this is being nice, but as an employee, it is customer service.
After walking the aisle, she passed two employees in the paint section talking about random stuff. Hay, cool, no problem. She then approached the cashier to ask about a product she did not see. He contacted the chain of command to ask since he didn't know. Also, cool, no problem. Do your thing to get the info needed. The lady he called was one of the ones at the paint section standing around talking. After hearing the question, she continued her conversation until she noticed my wyfe staring at her and patiently waiting she told him the location. Wyfe walked over and finished doing her thing.
The issue I have, is if you have time to stand around talking about random stuff, and the employee is presented with a problem, then they should go get the product and bring it to the counter.
Lack of customer service and needs proper training to provide the customer proper service Ace Hardware demands in order to maintain customer retention.
I could care less if your standing around chatting about the color of a yoyo if the store is clean, organized, stocked, and there are no customers. Once a customer comes in, be on point, maintain your bearing and discipline and be professional.

I just don't have the supplies you need that you can get from Lowe's and home Depot. But they do got decent customer service there

This Store has great associates and merchandise is always available. You might pay couple % more because grade of merchandise is better than Walmart. They will take care of you here.

Michael was my sales representative on 9/30/24 and was by far the most helpful employee I’ve ever had at an Ace. Don’t get me wrong I always have a great experience at Aces but this guy went above and beyond. I needed a pole saw and he helped me pick out the best one for my needs, helped me set up the warranty, and gave me the rundown on operating all within 30 minutes. I was in and out and more than pleased with my purchase. He even gave me a few pro tips for storage. Thanks Michael and I highly recommend you keep him around for I will be seeking him out for my next purchase!

Store is clean and organized. The customer service, though, needs some improvement. If you want to be ignored and sneered at this place is perfect for it. I dont mind going to Home Depot or Lowe's if i am going to get bad service at Ace.

Great customer service! Very friendly and very helpful. Asa, my salesman, and Eden, the cashier were both excellent and very professional. I bought a curved shaft weed eater and Asa took great care of me, as a matter of fact I had bought a handheld gas blower from Lowe's, and I took it back, and went back to Asa and bought the Stihl hand held gas blower. Nice clean store and I'll be going back. And... I live in East Sherman, so it's a bit of a drive for me. My wife went in with me, and she thought the young men were great as well. Thank you guys for your time and help. Thank you Ace hardware for my new equipment. I love it.

Thankful that Denison has more options for hardware stores. The employees have been very helpful any time I go in and I’m looking for a part.

This Ace has very friendly, helpful staff. They're always eager to help and the store is in an ideal centralized location. If I can't find something I'm looking for, they always offer to order anything they can. I visit multiple times a week and look forward to using all of the points I'm earning!

Arrived at 7:45 to grab one item. As I approached the door was greeted by a man by the name of Asa who told me I had 5 minutes. I laughed and said I thought I had 15. Im getting one item and leaving. I snapped a picture of him guarding the door preventing anyone from coming in. I checked out at 7:48pm. Receipt as proof.I WONT BE BACK.This place won’t last with horrible customer service. We will be driving to Home Depot in the future. It’s cheaper and has better customer service. Ace—you should train your staff to welcome guests!
