605 W 37th St ste b, Austin“This place is just the best. I’ve had so much fun dancing here and the people in this community are so kind and fun to be with. All of the instructors are great, especially Ruby who I take class with every week!”
“I went on a boat cruise during Sxsw. Some promotion party for Bose, they had really good DJs, with food and drinks included. My boat ride was free, and has been one of the best experiences I’ve had on the lake. We went at night, so it was dark and cold, but the good music kept us dancing, and having a great time. I’m definitely recommending this if you’re out of town and it’s cold but you still want to experience town lake in Austin.”
“Was greeted as soon as we entered the door, even though its was busy at the time. Everyone was so pleasant and informative. The person who mainly helped us I believe her name was Natasha, she was so enthusiastic and had some great recommendations. Affordable and overall great experience, they also have Easy Tiger bread which was a nice bonus. Will for sure return and explore more options.”

1900 University Ave, Austin“Went to the AT&T Hotel and Conference Center and had amazing service from Alejandro at the valet. He was helpful and had friendly service. Make sure you get to experience the best of service.”
“Fabulously prestigious atmosphere and decor, practically non-existent parking. Dance floors are great, but it's only A/C, no fans for air movement. You will have a blast, but arrive early.”
“aside from it being SUPER LOUD at the George Clinton show, it was an awesome venue.Went and saw Kenny Wayne Sheppard 2/17/24 and it was an awesome show! Audio was perfect, staff was friendly and helpful finding our seats.”
“Excellent hotel with excellent breakfast. Christina at reception was absolutely a gem. Her enthusiasm and kindness was exactly what you want when you check in. She even wished me well in a presentation I had to give. I have never felt so well cared for as a customer. I wish everyone e was like Christina at hotel check in. She really wanted me to enjoy all the amenities. That felt great. I can’t say enough great things about her.”
“We've attended the yearly rodeo, car shows and most recently the Austin PowWow at the center - easy access, adequate parking, good facilities - all visits have been a positive experience.”
“It's a nice place. I would recommend going during weekdays to avoid crowds. Overall, it's a nice place with 3 stories of museum artifacts. It's better to get one year unlimited visits, It includes free parking which will cost you about $13. Individual ticket is $15 per ticket. The total annual cost of one year is $85 for the family of 4 and free IMAX movies access throughout the year.”
“As an independent contracted event staff worker, I have been here over 50 times and it’s such a great venue. It’s SO clean. There’s plenty of bathrooms, it’s huge, the green room is nice and air conditioned and aesthetically pleasing. I think it’s a great place for practically any event.”
“We got married at The Allan House in early March and it was a DREAM! The clear tent was up and I’ll admit I was nervous about it, but it turned out beautiful! The staff made sure the day turned out perfectly and the grounds were the perfect setting for our day. We wanted the feel of a backyard/garden wedding at an estate and that is exactly what we got. One of the best parts was the reaction from each of our vendors when we told them The Allan House was our venue. They were all very comfortable with the venue and knew it well, which made things super easy on my planner and me! Our day went off without a hitch and we got SO many compliments on how beautiful and intimate the venue was. The staff at The Allan House was easy to work with and very responsive. 10/10!!!”
“Nice cute little place! My partner and I went on a Friday early afternoon I believe and it wasn't busy at all. Tickets were very affordable, place was well-maintained, and we had fun:)”
“I had a nice visiting this bar. It's super cute and I love the outside and inside ambiance. All the servers are great and they had Zee's Wiener System there so I ate two hotdogs while having my drinks. The hot dogs were a pop up but they were absolutely delicious!!!! I went early in the afternoon and although it was hot and sunny the inside bar was cool so I bounced in and out. The DJ was playing amazing music and it was a cool spot. Everyone there was so nice. The women's bathroom had these beautiful flamingos which made the decor stunning!”

400 Josephine St, Austin“Outstanding Service and Unforgettable Stay at The Carpenter Hotel
Our recent stay at The Carpenter Hotel in Austin, Texas, was truly unforgettable, and much of that is thanks to the exceptional service provided by the staff, especially Joseph at the front desk.
From the moment we checked in, Joseph’s warmth and professionalism stood out. He greeted us with a friendly smile and immediately made us feel welcome. Throughout our stay, Joseph consistently went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Whether it was offering thoughtful suggestions for local attractions, promptly attending to our requests, or just checking in to see how our day was going, Joseph’s genuine care and attention to detail made a significant difference in our experience.
What impressed us most was Joseph’s ability to anticipate our needs before we even asked. It’s rare to encounter someone who is so attuned to guests’ needs and who can make you feel so valued and cared for. His deep knowledge of the hotel and the surrounding area was incredibly helpful, and his personalized recommendations really enhanced our visit to Austin.
In addition to Joseph, we also want to recognize Carole and James, who were equally wonderful. Carole’s insights into local spots were spot-on, and James was always there to assist with a friendly attitude. Together, they created an atmosphere that was warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating.
The Carpenter Hotel itself is a gem in Austin – stylish, comfortable, and perfectly situated for exploring the city. The rooms are beautifully designed with a unique flair that reflects Austin’s eclectic vibe, and the on-site amenities are top-notch.
In summary, our stay at The Carpenter Hotel was made extraordinary by the remarkable service from Joseph, Carole, and James. We left with wonderful memories and can’t wait to return. If you’re looking for a place to stay in Austin, look no further than The Carpenter Hotel – and be sure to say hello to Joseph”

2919 Menchaca Rd Suite 205, Austin“This place is absolutely heaven sent!As a professional event planner myself, I have always felt the need to plan and design all my own parties. This year for my son’s 2nd, despite how excited I was to get to work, I decided I needed a break because I had a big 100 person wedding to plan the day before.Leah the owner is an absolute design and party planning rockstar . She created the most beautiful atmosphere for my son and even incorporated his favorite Pinkfong character Hogi. She is willing to go the extra yard for her clients and is easy to communicate with! The venue itself is like a mini Disneyland for kids! Everything is clean, sanitized and organized . In addition, the face painting/balloon artist was insanely talented! The party itself was perfect in every way. Our guest were blown away by the uniqueness of the concept of this little town! The best part is that the experience was completely hands free and there was no set up and clean up for me and my family!Thank you to Leah and her team! I know I can always trust a fellow professional event planner like her to plan the best parties for my son!”
“Located in Zilker Park this sculpture garden was a great place to wander around and see some amazing works of art. The artist lived and worked right here on the property and you can tell why he chose to live here. The surrounding park offers plenty to do and the sculpture garden is a great escape from the city. The museum has a changing display of art that allows you to see an artist’s work that you may not have ever been introduced to otherwise. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We had a wonderful time!”
“I think the Center itself is fine. But parking was difficult, especially with one way in and one way out of the venue. The event (Austin Marathon packet pickup) was cramped, and poorly laid out - over all a pretty frustrating experience compared to other races”
“The sanctuary event space was the perfect choice for our wedding. The beautiful setting is perfect for a small to mid-size wedding. We received tons of compliments on the venue choice!”
“We love boggy creek farm! It is such a joy to be able to purchase fresh veggies that were grown locally. And to see the chickens that laid your eggs. The whole staff is very knowledgeable and warm. I have been coming here for years. This place is a community staple! Thank you to the owners of Boggy Creek for this Austin gem.”

1221 E 6th St, Austin“Went to rooftop bar (IYKYK) for DJs and dancing at a private event. Was a fun chill rooftop, drinks were a little expensive but not terrible considering downtown Austin.
They do not take cash which is pretty annoying, loss of one star.
The 12 oz can of DosXX was Just under $9.
Friend had a tequila cucumber drink that's on their menu. It was just under $16.
Both of these are tipping 20%, after tip. However, you don't really have the option to do anything else based on the digital menu. I mean you could remove the tip, but it's rude.
It's a relatively classy joint up there, and people were well dressed for let's call it... Uptown. ? Although that could have been the event that we were at, rather than the venue.”
“Tremendous space, helpful and courteous staff. Highly recommend to all who need a regular office space or just a place downtown for the day or for a meeting! You’ll be glad you chose Common Desk!”

101 Red River St, Austin“I came with some clients and had a bit of a wrinkle with the check-in staff due to an oversight on their end, however, I - and my clients - truly enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is lovely, easy to navigate, great restaurants and food options, room service was fantastic. I would love to stay here again. The location is perfect if you're doing things downtown/south Austin/ UT campus - anywhere really. It's right off I-35. Highly recommend!!”
“I absolutely love coming to work here. The people at the security gate are awesome and the guys who work for the convention center are great. They are friendly, helpful, and all around good guys.”
“Creekshow is one of the many reasons I love loving in Austin. A free art show in a tiny treasure of a park downtown. Come support a beautiful park and wonderful art installations.”

He offered a personal postage stamp so I could send my post card to my loved one. I just find that going above and beyond for your guest, few and far between. Very enjoyable experience for our first trip to Austin.”

“I was contemplating the idea of a US-based destination wedding (I’m in Wisconsin) when I came across photos of a past wedding at Tiny T Ranch. I instantly fell in love, and my wedding planning began! There were some hiccups along the way (as destination weddings would expect!). But both in our planning prep trip last April and at the final event in October, the ranch always felt like such a special place.Spike is part of what makes the ranch so special. She brings the energy and magic, and the beauty of Texas brings the rest. She was always available and full of positivity. I felt such an immediate connection with her. If our best friend wasn’t officiating, we would have asked her to in a heartbeat. We’re nearing our 1 year wedding anniversary, and it brings me such joy to remember how special the day was, along with our extended stay on the ranch. If you are an old, feisty, artsy or wandering soul, this place is for you.”
