Very close to the airport so you don't get caught in the rushRooms: The rooms are clean although the furniture and TV are a little old.

Do these places not get inspected by any entity? This place needs to be shut down completely.

Ok choice hotels—here’s a tip for you. If authorities have to BREAK a door lock in one of your rooms, MAYBE you should fix it before your next guests show up (or select a different room for us, for goodness sake.)Let me explain. I wasn’t expecting much at this price, since we booked this room to accommodate a flight layover, but basic saftey measures absolutely did not exist in room 202. If I could give this place zero stars, I would, since our door bolt lock was completely broken off, and our secondary lock door plate was loose. We have seen enough CSI to know that, that means forced entry (probably heavy police action.) Basic safety measures should be the absolute bare minimum for a hotel or motel—the bar is on the floor. We checked in at 11pm, so we didn’t push the issue, but in the morning we saw giant bleach stains outside of our door (probably to bleach our bloodstains,) and the bathroom hardware was covered in mold and rust.Do not walk—run from this place. Spend $50 more elsewhere, for basic safety measures. We got lucky, and probably should never have accepted to stay in this room. Also, no airport shuttle here. We booked solely for that reason.Rooms: Absolutely disgusting.

It had a loose towel rack, shower head has a leak,no outlet for charging phones. I guess it's okay for what we need. Since it was very close to the event we were attending here.Breakfast is not a "hot" breakfast deal.

THERE IS NO AIRPORT SHUTTLE! They said there hasn’t been a shuttle since COVID! that was 4 YEARS AGO UPDATE YOUR STUFF!! Stop false promoting. Rooms are okay clean but there’s stains on the carpet and sofa chairs. I give staff 1/10 for their attitude, and gossiping about guest.

Noteworthy details: Just an inexpensive place to stay close to Austin Bergstrom Airport.

I would not recommend this hotel because it is not located in a good part of Austin. While at the hotel we saw several sketchy people wandering around the outside of hotel as well right beside the hotel is a liquor/smoke shop. I booked the hotel because I wanted a hotel close to the airport because I was flying out at 5am the next morning and thought this hotel would be a good option. The reviews looked pretty good except for a couple and the price seemed ok. The pictures of the outside were very misleading as once you get to the hotel, it looks a bit rundown on the outside. Once we got to the hotel we instantly didn’t feel safe and tried to cancel but the staff said it couldn’t be cancelled and I told the staff why we didn’t want to stay (which was for our safety, as we were two young girls by ourselves), but I still couldn’t be refunded. I was severely disappointed because at that point I had not been charged for the hotel but had to pay anyways because that was their policy. Also the price for one king bed is $98 which is too high of a price for the area this hotel is located in. The front desk woman was friendly and understanding but that was the only good thing about this hotel :/

I know it's a Quality Inn, but this place is by far, the worst place I've stayed at. They told us the pool was closed due to COVID, in 2023, go figure. The whole place is run down. Instead of fixing issues, they just tape paper signs up. Our room was marked with a sharpie on the wall. It was absolutely terrible. They didn't even have basic cable. When we arrived, we were told the computer system was down so we couldn't check in, no big deal, we went down to the track to kill some time. We were told they'd call us when we could check in, they didn't. We finally just returned and were able to check in. Then, at around 3-3:30 am, somebody was trying to get into our room, so we told them that we were already occupying the room. Then the "employee" returned (he wasn't wearing a uniform or name tag to identify him as an employee) and told us that we weren't checked into the room and we had to go to the front desk with him. I've NEVER had an employee tell me that I needed to go to the front desk at 3 am. At this point, both me and my buddy were fed up and tired, so my buddy told him "tough" and slammed the door on him. We both expected police to show up at that point. I mean, we had no clue who that "employee" was and we both wondered if someone was trying to rob us. In the morning, we complained about it to the current employee at the front desk and demanded that we wanted to check out early and switch hotels. She told us the manager wasn't in at the moment, but would call us to resolve the issue. She never did. I had to call several times to finally get a hold of the manager. The only saving grace they had was that they refunded our entire stay. It's also in an absolutely terrible part of town. STAY AWAY. Anywhere else is better than here. We will NOT be returning. Shame.

As a Choice Diamond member, I stop here often on the way from NC. There’s always a smiling and welcoming face and warm conversation at “check in”. Especially when you get a chance to speak with the Operations Manager. She was interested in my opinion of the property and my recommendations. The one thing that makes for a great hotel experience after traveling ALL day is the face to face, person to person interaction with a real person to make you feel welcomed and appreciated. If you’re expecting good service and hospitality after a long day in a vehicle…This place is it! The fitness room could use a little help. But, Housekeeping is on point…5+ stars. The rooms are always clean and comfortable. But, I will be back here again…probably next week. As for Choice Hotels, this is one of my favorites!

Not only does this hotel have the friendliest staff in town, but the hotel itself and the rooms are very clean, very comfortable and very affordable. I spoke to management about how lovely the lobby was when I went to tour the location for business purposes. She told me the lobby had been remodeled and they have plans for a renovation in the near future, they simply had to put those plans on hold when COVID-19 pandemic shut the world as we know it down. Overall, this hotel deserves praise for all of the above and then some. And, just wait until they get their Christmas tree in full swing...that alone will make you smile before you start your QUALITY stay!! FIVE STARS!!!!!
