I don’t live in del Rio and I tried to cancel my membership over the phone and they won’t let me saying it has to be in person or I have to mail a letter. They will not let you even email. They charged me a late fee of $10 on top of the $10 for membership. The employee who helped me over the phone was very helpful but planet fitness as whole is ridiculous and a scam. I will never use them again nor will I ever recommend them to anyone.
Update: I have spoken to management and my request was still denied. Another $42 was just taken from my account. This signature policy is pretty ridiculous. A bank or an actual company that requires personal information does not do this. If I had been told this information in the beginning I wouldn’t have signed up.

Too many kids and they just holding equipment they on the phone texting and talking and not using the equipment. While others have to wait around.

Great place. Equipment is always clean and working correctly. Vast and variety of machines. The staff is friendly and greets you upon entering the building ,even if their busy. Staff is diligently doing rounds to keep the facility clean even at peak times.

Gabby Sarai is the face of petty tyranny. The educated are now at the mercy and terror of the uneducated, unprofessional and cruel. The judgment free zone only applies to those in petty power. She is too stupid to know that she is getting used by corporate power and greed. The harshness, hatred and cruelty she displays will come back to her.

The showers are a little dated and the handicap shower head needs to replacing. This day I heard that the water fountain was not working and had not been for at least a day. Other than that, hot shower. We are in the area for about a week, camping and hiking.

The ladies at the front desk are always smiling and friendly and they’re always working hard cleaning, which makes for a pleasant atmosphere. The gym is extremely crowded at night, but other than that it’s a great place to work out.
