This is the best “furbaby” hospital ever. My dog was so sick. I didn’t make appointment, I didn’t call, I just showed up (just like a human hospital, you might have to wait but my “furbaby” is worth it). He was having diarrhea and vomiting for four days because I was trying to do home remedies which failed. I am a nurse so I thought I could handle this.
On the 4 day I thought I best take him to a veterinarian. When I walked into this place, it was clean and the people were friendly. We Never been there before due to being new to the Dallas area. Dr Hawthorne is very engaging and explained everything.
Touya (Sheba inu) is 100% better. Dr Hawthorne gave us medication and some sample dog food.

Bad communication within staff. I got 2 different answers about a price, even though the price difference was so slight no one wanted to take accountability for giving the wrong price. When I originally came in Wednesday 9/25/24 the front desk lady purposely put my address wrong even after I wrote it down on paper. Also she’s the one that gave me the wrong price originally. I just didn’t get any good vibes from here.

Love them! Always so kind and knowledgeable . Very old-school with how they manage their business. They don't try to oversell anything or send you to a million specialists. I won't go anywhere else.

There aren't enough words for me to describe how grateful I am for this vet. I come here for my dogs and cats and every time my pets have a problem, these folks have a solution; and without an insane price gouge. White rock animal hospital does a phenomenal job caring for my pets.

Doctors and all staff are efficient and effective and providing excellent care for 2 dogs. I have used White Rock Animal Hospital for many years and would not go anywhere else.

I’m sure the vets here are great - their receptionist, absolutely not. Called in tears asking if I could come in with my kitten and got cut off and told I shouldn’t have called them and should’ve called an emergency vet instead. Told her my regular vet had recommended for me to call them, she said “I understand but we can’t do anything.” Horrible attitude when dealing with people having emergencies. Get a new receptionist, she needs to find a different line of work.

Didn’t even make it in because I called to make an appointment and the woman that answered the phone didn’t even let me finish my question, cut me off mid sentence and was really rude. I honestly hung up after and cried because I was already going through a hard time (my senior dog was really ill and I was already upset and she didn’t make it better) I decided to go elsewhere where they were more kind to me. Someone should really teach her to be more kind. I understand people don’t want to be at work sometimes, but no need to treat customers in this manner.

Dr Hawthorne and the team at White Rock are my new go-to team. I've never had such wonderful, caring vet services in one of the hardest periods of pet ownership. 10/10 recommend them for their speed, flexibility, communication and care.
