I guess the managers don't care about the freshness of the food. I stopped by so I can grab some dinner and everything looked horrible. I even waited for somebody to come out and couldn't find anybody to help me. I left and went to central market where they actually care about the presentation and freshness of their food. I'm really hope you get managers that actually care about Tom thumbs brand

Been to a few Tom Thumbs in DFW but this is the one I constantly return to to do most of my grocery shopping. Always well stocked on everything and all the sales they have are worth shopping there for. I find they have a good rotation of items that they put on sale around the appropriate times, for holidays and such. The few things I am not a fan of are some of the employees. Although it may be through something separate and not a direct employee, there is one man at the Starbucks inside who is just so unkind and has such an attitude every time I stop by for a coffee. I also had an unpleasant experience at the bakery, and I stood at the counter for about five minutes, and no one came to help me. I did not see a single employee there, and I even asked another worker walking around on the floor, and he said he wasn't sure where they were. I finally just got fed up and walked away. Otherwise, the store is great. It's clean and well maintained inside and out. Convenient location to lots of other things when I find myself out and about running errands.

The African American man who works at the pharmacy, is the most miserable person ever ! This guy needs to go ! There isn't a time I go up there , he speaks ! Not a " hello " , " how I can help you ?" Nada . I'd think he was a mute except when you finally say something , he responds with an attitude . Thought it was just me , until one day, I saw 3 or 4 people in front of me and he was the same with everyone . Dude , if you hate people so much , find a night pharmacy job where you have little to no interactions with humans . Will not be returning to getting meds filled . I don't need to feel like a burden when I'm the CUSTOMER.

This review is for their pharmacy. I recently went online to schedule a Moderna booster shot. It took some time to to find a convenient time and location, but I was able to schedule an appointment at 11:30am on Saturday morning. It was also a bit of a process, as Tom Thumb's website makes you fill out and / or print multiple forms. Despite already being double-vaxxed, I had recently recovered from Covid and it was important that I be fully protected before visiting my elderly parental unit. As instructed, I showed up at bit early for my scheduled appointment. The pharmacy tech said it would be another 40 minutes before they started administering booster shots. It was a minor inconvenience and I grabbed a cup of coffee at Starbucks. However, 20 minutes later, Tom Thumb's pharmacy called and left a VM on my phone telling me that they only administered Moderna booster shots between 12-2pm on Fridays. Despite my scheduling a specific time on the Tom Thumb website, they don't take appointments. I would now have to come back at week later. I'm not sure why Tom Thumb has you go through the process of scheduling a specific day / time for your booster shot if they don't require appointments. Not only did I organize my entire morning around that appointment, but I scheduled it on a weekend so that I didn't have to miss any work. And most important, I wanted to avoid any after-effects during during my parental unit's 84th birthday the following weekend. It was a huge PITA and I ended up scheduling my booster shot at another provider. The store itself is okay, but I'm definitely less than impressed with their website and pharmacy in regards to Covid.

my mom and I came in to the store looking for some recipe ingredients and when we asked one of the employees about Thyme he said he'd not been able to find it yet (they were stocking for the evening). a few minutes later he came and found us on another non produce aisle with a box of Thyme!!! We appreciated him so much I wanted to say thank you! thank you, Scott!!! Great service. we appreciate the Thyme on your hands :D happy holidays!

I love this Tom Thumb location. I have another location within the same distance and I always gravitate towards this one. Everything I'm looking for is always in stock. Store is clean and the staff is always helpful.

I ordered my sister a cake for her birthday. HORRIBLE cake is lopsided, frosting falling off and before we cut the cake if slept in half. I will NEVER I repeat NEVER order a cake from Tom Thumb again.

While I love the selection at this store, I have not been in the store in a few months. Last time I was in, most of the customers and most of the employees were not wearing gloves or masks. Even the ones handling the food in the deli! The guy slicing the meats kept using his bare hand to wipe his bare face, and then touched the food. That unfortunately did it for me shopping there right now. Not worth taking a chance for me.

This is by far my least avorite supermarket chain. All signature such as Albertsons, Vons, Tom thumb etc. They always seem to have a really immature staff. Young immature talking about inappropriate drama about drugs sex etc. Tom thumb also has the most consistent high prices out of any other supermarket. They would rather throw produce away than discount it. One day I needed basil and asked the guy stocking produce he was rude and said it's over there finally annoyed he walked me over to the area where the basil was. 1 small pack left and it was a little browned (not to bad) he picked it up and looked at it and threw it away in front of me and said we're out. He would rather throw away than ask if I wanted to purchase it. Everytime I go in here I walk out upset. It's always something different. One time the systems shut down. Another time the only cashier was flirting with someone who wasn't even in his line and took forever to return to his station to wrong down the long line. In my opinion if you want better quality for same price go across the street to central market. And if you want same quality but way cheaper go to Walmart.

I beg you, please, do not go to this headquarters, they treat the customer badly. It was my first time sending money to the Dominican Republic, I asked the person and she answered me money order? Before making the payment I asked him how I received the money and he could not answer me, when the payment was finished I called the person who was going to receive it to collect it and he told me that it was not that way, he returned to ask for help Since it is $ 200 that I need to send to my family that is going hungry and they replied that they could NOT do anything, to sign the check and deposit it in my account so as not to lose the money. I asked him how I deposit a check that is not payable to me? and they told me that if you could. Now I cannot deposit the check because the bank does not allow me and I cannot cash it because it is NOT in my name. when I return they tell me that this is my problem and that I should find out how to collect it, 4 people who did not know how to give answers to a simple question. Now in times of COVID where we are not working, where one makes the effort to send the little money that one has to the families and they DO NOT care to give a solution. I WORKED HARD TO SEND THAT $ 200 and now my family won't eat and now I lost my money. Humanity is getting worse every day. If somebody can I help, I’m here waiting

If I could give the Tom Thumb drive up no stars, I would. We scheduled our pick up for 12pm. And we were told it was running behind and didn't hear anything. Went to pick up our stuff at 6pm assuming that would have been enough time and now have been waiting for over an hour and still don't have our groceries.

Horrible customer service. Elecia insinuated our party stole an item when we returned to have the security tag removed (which wasn’t done at purchase) even though we came with a receipt in hand. When confronted about it, she denied that’s what she was doing.
