Urgent Need for Improved Leadership at Walgreens Pharmacy
On March 8th at around 7:30 pm CST, my experience at the Walgreens pharmacy on Northwest Highway and Turtle Creek was markedly disappointing, primarily due to the lead pharmacist’s conduct. Despite prior confirmations with the staff and my doctor, I arrived after a 30-minute drive only to encounter a lack of coordination and accountability, rooted in the lead pharmacist’s attitude.
This pharmacist exhibited smug rudeness and a dismissive demeanor, failing to address the errors made under her supervision. Instead of engaging in constructive dialogue, she chose defensiveness, undermining the core principles of customer service. Her apparent belief that she was the sole authority in the pharmacy exacerbated the situation, demonstrating a concerning lack of empathy and managerial skill.
This incident not only reflects poorly on the individuals involved but also suggests a broader issue of leadership within this Walgreens pharmacy. Effective management is crucial, and it is evident that the current leadership is not fostering an environment of respect, professionalism, or customer-centricity.
For potential customers considering this location, I recommend waiting until there are tangible improvements in management and staff training. It is vital for Walgreens to ensure their pharmacies operate with a focus on accountability, communication, and genuine care for customer concerns.

I love this pharmacy. They are super quick and nice. No awkward jokes. They are concentrated on what they are doing.

This place is the biggest joke, do not go there and Waste your time with inconsiderate employees, who are intentionally slow at the register, with managers who are disrespectful and follow people around. I guess they think everybody's stealing. And when I ask if I can get some help those same managers disappear like cockroaches when the lights turn on. The entire structure is trash. From the GM all the way down to the stockers. The pharmacy is also trash. You might be able to get a very common drug there and it won't be very expensive. But if you need anything that is semi-uncommon, you will not be able to get it. My mother is diabetic, she can no longer get her insulin there nor do they have the syringes she needs at any time. Just go to CVS or Walmart or anywhere else. Do not spend your money at Walgreens at Northwest Highway and lemon they are trash Dookie..

For several years I have frequented this location because it is convenient for me. That said, the past couple of times I have been in, the staff (with the exception of 1 or 2 people) are apathetic, slow and lazy in their customer care.I cannot say ENOUGH about the awesomeness about the Pharmacists himself, and his team, but the regular store employees need some etiquette training & to realize customers don't HAVE to choose Walgreens.

Horrible service just horrible John Carroll you should be ashamed of yourself to allow these employees to talk to people in your store that way I was in there last week to buy Coke products that were on sale it is not my fault that your store still has the old pricing on the shells hire some competent people to remove the pricing as far as I know Walgreens should honor that price instead of arguing semantics. I would like someone to get in touch with me so that I can show you the receipt that I had from last week and what you charged me for those products and the coupons that you gave me and then I can show you the pictures of the shelf with the prices so that you can explain it to me further yes I understand that they are supplied by different people yes I understand that I was not trying to buy the two cokes for buy one get one free what you guys don't understand is you had old pricing on the shell that show the numbers that's your fault honor that if you don't that's false advertising instead of having your manager argue with me about it

DO NOT!!!!develop your camera film here. They “sent” my 35mm film out on June 12th well after 5 phone calls...finally went in person today June 27th to find out they NEVER sent them out because their FedEx portal is down and can’t send anything out!!! I called 5 times 3 different people answered and nobody bothered to mention this detail( they would even check on the status pretending like they were already sent straight up lying to me and they even kept giving me ACTUAL dates of arrival.)Lies!!!! my film has been SEATING there for almost 3 weeks now!! Idk how I kept my calm I was beyond pissed…all THEY said was, “ yeah, I’m sorry about that.” I walked out with the film in my hand NOT developed……Oh and the manager was on break in the back room I can see into smh!!

Showed up at 11:45pm as I had an emergency... store was closed early.. Levon/lefon/ whatever her name is (manager on duty) said there was nothing she could do as all registers were closed.. cause they were pulled way before their due time ... yet your closing signs says 12... she seemed very proud, great management Walgreens Might as well fix those store hours labels outside to 11:30 closing time

Wish there is an option to provide negative stars. I arrived at 7:30 pm for passport size photographs. One store employee told me to wait as the other is busy assisting customers. after almost 10 minutes she arrived at the counter and stated we cannot do photographs due to store been understaffed. There were literally 5 customers in the whole store. Nevertheless, I took her word and decided to leave but needed few things to buy. As I spent more time in store, the same employee (AA descent) was walking around in the store doing absolutely nothing. She smirked at another coworker when she saw me and made a comment to her " you didn't leave yet". Very unprofessional and delinquent behavior from staff. I bet if it was AA customer she would have gone above and beyond her limits. Perhaps I can take my business to CVS, but corporate must be made aware of such behavior from an employee. I will be sending an email to corporate. Kindly, also update your website that services will not be provided if store becomes understaffed at any given time.

Today is Dec 10th 2022 at 6:32 pm. I'd have to say this is the worst customer service I have ever received I'm my entire 5 years of using this store. The management has really fallen off.In short, I placed an order at noon on the walgreen app. I called to verify rhe order had been received at 12:30. The staff member told me yes and it would be processed. I visited the store at 5:25PM. The order is still not processed. I came in contact with an employee - African American short red hair about 5'6. She was still eating food from returning from the back of the store. The exchange was awkward, as I had to repeat my name 3 times and rhen be told I'd have to wait 15 to 20 mins MORE as the orders weren't processed.I left and waited in my car for 20 minutes and returned. Neither poster is completed. Second Manager apologies for the wait - it's been 43 minutes thus far. This second employee is about 5'3 longer hair and apologetic. However she scratches the product. I bring it to her attention and she agrees to waive the charge as it was damaged and I no longer want to wait more than I already have.Meanwhile there are two more guests waiting to be served for the photography sec.Fast forward, both posters are printed and were finally checking out. Great. There is promo code that has been removed which I kindly remind the 2nd manager to correct and add on. Essentially my code should be honored and only one poster charged per the 2nd managers confirmation.In summary, the first Manager comes over and says " No we're not going to honor that. You'll have to resubmit and wait again for a new poster or not take it all." Mind you, this is in front of the other manager who has promised to waive the damaged poster ENTIRELY. I asked her " why would she not honor the error and why would I be subjected to waiting longer as this wasn't my error?" She continued to state no and then attempted to charge me without a promo code entirely. It took myself and the friendly guest Mr. Jolly next to me to explain her error in math and show her the code applied in the app.I cant believe this ... I hear waisted 1 hr and 7 minutes entirely and inconvenienced. The first manager goes even further in her errors. She takes the scratched poster and rips it up in front of myself, 2nd manager, and the other guest.Essentially your team needs better training and lacks accountability entirely. No one is watching the photo section for orders and the managers there used very poor leadership skills and low efforts to remedy the problems created by themselves. I am a paying client... but the cost was not the issue. It's the PRINCIPLE of damaging the poster, wasting a hour of my time, eating km the sales floor, and the confrontational demeanor....Walgreens please train your leadership well or replace them with kind, articulate, problem solving talent that actually like their jobs perhaps. The red haired manager I'm particular had all the resources to resolve this issue.... she was combative unprofessional, and contradictive to her coworker and myself.I usually have such a great exchange here ... I will not return here when in a rush or in need of a professional exchange. Do better for your guests.

Expect to wait 15-30 just to get your pics at the Photo dept and sometimes they’ll tell you “You can check out in the front” Make sure you have an extra 30 min to wait in line. Check out is very slow VERY VERY slow. They do have a FedEx drop off but the scanner needs to boot up and that takes 10-15 min. So the moral of the story “Patience is a virtue” As for friendliness I could care less it’s in the middle of a horrible neighborhood.

If I could rate this Walgreens zero stars I would. Rude lead shift kicked me out of the store for no reason at all. I'm just trying to find a mask for my sick daughter and she made me feel uncomfortable. I don't know if it's the night people buy, I've never had a problem till now.

Terrible service from the manager Ivonn and the cashier Stefani Soto ? due to a mistake on their part they made me retrain in a line of 10 people according to their store policies.
