08/29/2024 @ approx. 10:29 a.m. I went to post office on Greenville and Markville in Dallas Texas and stood at the counter (as I was the only customer there). I waited for approximately 15 minutes. During this time I called out, “Hello, is there anybody here several times and got no response”. There was no clerk at the counter. I decided to knock on the door and a tall black lady comes out yelling saying knocking on the door is not called for. I told her I was a customer who have called out twice with no response. Who leaves a government building unattended? I said there are cameras and I know you saw me, I’ve been standing here and she said, “No, I didn’t see you”. Customer service that SUCK. Send me the petition for closure of this location and I’ll put my name on the list.

Waited in line for 40 minutes to buy a prepay envelope and was told “we don’t have prepaid stamp”, because the girls in the next counter literally just mailed a prepaid express envelope, I simply asked if it’s possible to put normal stamp on the envelope and was scream at by the guy saying “I’m not putting that many stamps on your envelope”. I mean… I asked very nicely, didn’t really expect to get screamed at☹️ somebody must have a pathetic life and can’t handle their job

There is a reason that this post office has 1.6 stars. The staff are not knowledgeable about post office products and their staff is belligerent to customers. I tried to get a price quote on a box for media mail which was all books and PACKAGING MATERIAL. The guy that helped me claimed the package could ONLY contain media and that other publishers who send me books that are packaged in styrofoam or other materials are not using media mail. If you can, AVOID THIS POST OFFICE AT ALL COSTS. We can hope that if their traffic continues to drop, the postal service will shutter this location or at least better train their staff.

I usually never write a review but this place is so bad I had to leave review to warn other not to come here. This place had me waiting for 2 hours and I was told to come 20 mins early. The staff doesn’t seem to care and are rude. Writing this review to warn others not to come here

I can believe the attuited that this people have. lost a package and when i filed a complaint someone from this office called me with an attuite like it's my fault and hanged up on me ...terrible

The US postal service as a whole is yet another government service that should be abolished or completely overhauled. It doesn’t matter what location, city or state. They are consistently understaffed and inadequately stocked with supplies.
Again, I arrived at the posted opening time and they were 11 minutes late opening, and over 20 people standing in line outside. The girl that opened the door was out of breath and apologizing to everyone. She was the only employee there. No wonder postal service workers are frustrated and stressed.
The public has been complaining about the US postal service for decades and nothing changes, so I seriously doubt that this post will even be read, shared or provided a response.

Old front desk lady doesn’t want to work there. Person who handles passport appointments takes “brilliantly” timed lunch breaks for scheduled appointments. Go somewhere else, this place is terrible.

l called this place today and spoke with a rude guy. He made me feel like am illiterate for just asking if l could track my package and if l could pick it up. Whoever you are, please learn customer care, you were so mean and that was unnecessary. Remember you are there because of people like me. It doesnt hurt being nice not everyone understandsthe rules and regulation of your workplace, just do it nicely.

The self service machine will not print out my label unless it's through something called label broker.
When I ask the customer service people at the counter they say they will also not print out my label but will not give me a reason why.
The lady suggested I go to UPS to print out my label from them because they are willing to. How does it make any sense that USPS will not print out one of their own labels.
But UPS is willing to.

Review change to 5⭐️. Staff went above and beyond, assisting with last-minute delivery instructions to the carrier who already had the package I needed. Happy to report; package received in perfect order. Thank you.
They had simple and straightforward ID requirements, as well as helped to obtain and verify them for services like PO Box and informed delivery. Box hours could be a little more consistent, but _ANY_ expanded hours, 7 days a week, is still good regardless - they always have some.

We need to start reporting these people and plus the delivery drivers too. The packages never get delivered for some reason.
