Subject: Feedback on Curbside Pickup Experience at Ulta - Lemmon Ave
I would like to provide feedback regarding my recent experience with the curbside pickup process at the Ulta location on Lemmon Ave.
On my initial attempt to use the service, I noticed that the app indicated that curbside pickup was unavailable. I decided to wait until the following day to try again, but the same restriction was displayed. The next day, I arrived at the store with my barcode and keys, expecting a quick process.
However, I encountered an issue with one of the short-female Hispanic representatives, who informed me that I needed to present an ID to complete the pickup. I explained that the app did not mention this requirement. Unfortunately, the representative and I had a disagreement about the information provided in the app. Afterward, I had to return to my car to retrieve my ID.
To my surprise, the representative opened my package without my consent, which made me uncomfortable as I felt my privacy was violated. After receiving my package, I left the store feeling quite disappointed with the overall experience.
I believe that clear communication and training for employees regarding pickup procedures could greatly enhance customer satisfaction. My experience with curbside pickup at other retailers, where a barcode suffices without the need for an ID, has been much more positive.

My mom & I are incredibly happy with the stylist Alex! We’ve never loved our cut & color so much before. I have pretty difficult hair and had come to accept I’ll never get the color I truly want - WELL I was wrong Alex has been able to make my hair dreams come true!! She’s amazing! She’s also very knowledgeable with curly hair.

I went to this store and the cashier seemed to me that she was a little inattentive, she didn't offer me a bag and she didn't treat me well!

The employees here are incredibly kind! I want to give a HUGE thank you to Simone for going above and beyond she patiently helped me swatch and blend product after product until we found the perfect matches. At checkout, she even made sure I was up to date on everything in the Ulta app, which saved me some coins! I spent two hours in the store bothering Simone, and she kept a smile on the entire time. I also want to thank Ciara for stepping in and helping me navigate the store. Both ladies made my experience a great one!

Do yourself a favor and go see Alex for your color and cut needs! She’s amazing at both, but her color technique is beyond. If I could give 10 stars I would!

Worst customer service ever they don't know how to listen they're completely dense you can tell them exactly what it is that needs to be done and they completely don't listen to you I went up to the front for a pickup order they didn't have ready and then I asked the lady can I just go get it off the Shelf she says yes and then proceeds to not help me find it after I find it she tries to make me pay for it again even though it's already been paid for online didn't want to look up the order just wanted to be a complete butt if it weren't for the fact that I literally live right down the street I wouldn't use this location

Just went to shop at this Ulta and was very disappointed. I fractured my ankle and I've been on crutchers. And I can't drive and this was the one of the only opportunities that someone could drive me to ulta to buy some makeup. when I got there there was absolutely no one in any of the departments to help out. I did buy little can of hairspray when I got to the cashier. they didn't even ask me by the way, if I if I found everything all right like they usually do. So after.
I paid. I asked if there was a particular time and day that there would be some assistance in the makeup and their excuse was that yeah, there was nobody there because they were shifting people and they were all at lunch although this was at 1:20 in the afternoon. and that usually in the evening is when there's more people which I find out as a poor excuse. As I've been to this ulta before at different times and I have gotten assistance. But it is disappointing now that I don't go that often because I'm not able to drive and to be treated that way or given that poor excuse. And tey didn't offer to help me even though there was more than one person at the cashier. Very disappointed. We'll be going to sephora

Beware of the purple-haired manager, “Sef.”
I came in simply to purchase a perfume I had seen online. When I got to checkout, I politely asked if they could price match (from their own website ) since the in-store total was about $30 higher. It wasn’t a huge issue—I just figured it was worth asking.
Instead of a courteous response, I was met with an unnecessarily rude and condescending attitude. Sef told me in the most dismissive tone, “No, we’re not doing that. It’s online. I don’t even know why you’d ask that. You should just buy it online if you saw it online.”
Trying to keep things positive, I asked if there was anything at all they could do. She snapped back, “I said no—it’s not even a thing. So buy it online if you want the price.”
I was honestly shocked by the lack of professionalism and basic respect. It’s unfortunate, because I was ready to buy on the spot or take my wife to create her own fragrance somewhere else.
If you expect even minimal courtesy as a paying customer, you might want to consider shopping elsewhere.

I had a wonderful experience with this store, they answered my questions and made recommendations that fit what I was looking for. Shout out to store associate Olivia! I really appreciated the time she took to help me, she did a little of my makeup and it looked incredible. Her knowledge on products and ability to color match was so on point! If she wouldn't have helped me I probably wouldn't have spent as much as I did. She was phenomenal and I think she deserves a raise 💯!!!

I went to this location for a blowout. I had Jessica. Before we started, I told her I had a birthday dinner that night and wanted a round brush and then pinned so it would last. She didn’t do any of this But She just seemed irritated in general to be doing the blow out so I just dropped it.Service was completed in 20 minutes because she skipped the scalp massage and other perks from the service. Additionally, my hair was completely flat in 2 hours. When I’ve gotten blow outs in the past, they lasted for at least 2 day and I literally slept on it. I don’t normally leave negative reviews but seeing that Jessica has previous negative reviews I felt the need to share.
