My boyfriend and I eat quite a bit of meat, steak primarily being on a high protein diet. We tend to buy steak either at sprouts, Tom Thumb or Trader Joe’s, just depending what’s closer at the time. We purchased steaks at joes and really enjoyed our steaks so of course purchased again. All was good until we purchased some steaks (filet mignon) that were beyond bad, opening the packaging was like unlocking death, imagine rotten eggs beating you in the face. Sad but we accepted our loss ($25) and went about our way. We tried it again and bam same story! My bf decided to call the store, like hey what’s going on, this isn’t good. He spoke to the manager, Abigail and she asked for receipts or cc info. It was paid cash and receipt was thrown out (who keeps grocery receipts?) so she preceded to tell us to bring the steaks back. Okay, weird but cool, I mean I didn’t want to keep rotten egg smelling meat in my fridge but if you want proof purchase and to smell it yourself consider it done. Next morning I drive to the store with foil wrapped around the steaks and still in the packaging, I speak with Abigail. Not once did she apologize for any inconvenience but more so made it seem as if I was an inconvenience to her. She did not acknowledge that it was the second time but just simply, nonchalantly refund me the steaks for yesterdays purchase, which is fine but as a manager in customer service do your part. Obviously, something or someone isn’t doing their job if old smelly meat is being sold to customers. As a customer it’s not my job to let you know your meat isn’t good, isn’t there some kind of quality control check?? Yet for you to be rude to a customer that made it a point not to bring attention regarding this to other shopping customers, shame on you! I’ll drive the extra 5 miles and shop else where. All I have to say is your welcome for letting you know that something needs to be done about your meat department before someone gets sick!

They are very attentive you just can’t beat it I love the flowers especially the orchids. This store is phenomenal. I will always shop at this store.

Trader Joe's is a treat. I don't live close to a store so on the rare occasions I can go I always enjoy looking around and finding something new to try.
