If I could leave 0 stars I would because the person in charge of hiring was rude, disrespectful, and hung up on me when I tried to explain my inquiry for the service desk position. When I called the store back (assuming the line has disconnected) she proceeded by picking up the phone and hanging up on me. Her name is Brenda and I would never wish this type of treatment on anyone applying or inquiring about a position at this location. I will be reaching out to corporate and letting them know that this type of work ethic is disgraceful for anyone in a leadership position.
I work in management and no one should be treated this way in the work field !!!!

When I come up to the register at 11:04, 4 minutes late and 14 minutes after an announcement about closing, the last person who is allowed to work register has dipped out. Night stocking crew is like “I can’t believe I didn’t see you”, but I was walking by tons of employees who also didn’t seem to know people running the HUGE, CORPORATE store just ditch customers. I want to emphasize that I heard her earlier announcement just fine, so she can do it clearly and audibly **when she wants**; but when a “beep” got my attention - there’s NO VOICE! Hmmm.
Now I know I shouldn’t keep people from closing up and I’ll own that! I have worked retail though, and regardless I know I can’t scan that whole place and assume nobody moved while I was moving the other way. Anyhow, I can’t say I know this for sure, but this is how it seems to me (again, I’ve worked in retail most my adult life): If you’re the one left in charge that night (you should have a little more standards in that role) but you’re gunning to bail asap, it’s pretty convenient to decide “store is empty”, and get out before the last customer gets to the counter. If you SAY it over the intercom somebody would probably get there before you finish shutting down that last register. Petty, not professional. Maybe the company rips off their employees so decent enough workers won’t stick around for that job. They get so much of our money, so they shouldn’t skimp on decent customer service at our expense. - I (begrudgingly) skipped some details so as not to torture anybody who starts reading my rant ;)

Please don't use them for online orders. No matter how much I communicate and put notes on my online orders they never read them and misplace my groceries at random buildings in my complex instead of the one I specifically give directions to.
I've received broken eggs, missing items had the wrong car and driver deliver my order, had trouble communicating bc the associate couldn't speak any English or would bring children along and be preoccupied with them ( a mother with babies is one thing but a man with middle schoolers is another)
And of course the driver delivering them to the wrong building and attempting to drive away when I asked if that order was mine and if they needed my help getting it to my building they obviously were out of it and did not want to help let alone get the order done right.
I don't have the transportation to get myself to a car rn and thought since they provide online delivery that I could rely on Tom Thumb for great service and I was very disappointed to not just once or twice but multiple times have inconvenient, tiring and frustrating encounters.
I don't see why they have this service if all of their locations in this area don't fulfill the orders the way they should, have terrible customer service and make it harder than if I just got delivery from a competitor.
I'm going to happily try any and all stores outside of the Albertsons/Kroger umbrella.

The night manager - Miranda - at this Tom Thumb location needs to get more training when it comes to assisting customers. I went to this TT last week to purchase peaches that were on sale and for some reason couldn't download the TT App. She told me I HAD to have the app on my phone to make the purchase when in fact you don't. I just had to go to the TT website to clip the offer. She wasn't willing to help in any way, no manners and no customer service skills whatsoever. I'd give her 0 stars if I could.

I was just at this location and I just feel That the checkout attendant, Monika Ruiz who was on her phone via AirPods, could not greet me as I walked up and I had to listen to her conversation while she checked me out. I can’t imagine a store manager approving of their employees being on the phone while they are working, especially when they are in a position of customer interaction.

I had no idea your only cashier was not happy. While being rung up, not only did he not make eye contact, he said nothing and threw my purchases at me. He couldn't have been more rude. Not sure what's going on. He treated the man behind me the same way. Will think twice before going here again. Kroger on Mockingbird and Greenville never does this.
