From The Westwood School
In 1986, The Westwood School was founded to address a real need for change in education by developing character, fostering community, and promoting academic excellence. For almost 30 years, The Westwood School has continued to grow offering Montessori education starting at 2 years-old. Westwood blends the highly regarded method with the International Baccalaureate, an ideal overlay to the foundation laid by the Montessori method. IB World Schools share a common philosophy–a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that The Westwood School believes is important for our students. In 2004, Westwood became an authorized IB World School, offering the the IB Diploma Programme (grades 11-12).
