Very helpful and provided the information needed for transition back to society,MY ONLY issue for others, is that your listed as a "resource" for soon-to-be-released persons who are currently incarcerated,Most do not have web access or someone to call about your services ,Could you somehow find a way to reply/respond to these ppl. The TDCJ(reentry) doesn't offer much of assistance for upcoming "soon-to-be-released" persons, any correspondence would be appreciated

I just want to thank The Way Back for being there when I needed them. Kate has always gone over and above everything I've asked her to assist me with. I can't give her a high enough rating it's off the chart. Seems like I'm always saying thank you to them. In the last couple years they've helped me find two jobs and I would have gotten a third, but I'm going home to Indiana. Just want to thank God too!

Entirely different people from last time i was here, focus on saving not jobs or housing, no eye glasses no more, no help with dental and no real care. This new lady Katie has no contacts like Shirl did, no experience other than secretary, no real world connections to how life is once coming out of prison. Dont recommend this place at all, new director acts like he showy or something. Your better off on your own or even with $5 at Unlocking Doors

Went downhill since I been out, now some office building not accessible to where people live. Everyone gone but new people who ain't got time for old timers like me. Been a few years but they changed since when I got out and it was useful.

Not helpful at all and they wont take you unless you fit their qualifications of record. They got rid of the housing and jobs lady which was the only good part about this place. Don't bother coming by here anymore , it's a waste of time.

Used to be on Denton Drive with helpful people, now at some out of the way place near Richardson no one can get to or have time to get there. Boot camps no longer helpful, new staff who don't care, only accepts certain people, resume "service" is filling out a template if they accept you. Better help out there.

Well the couple of negative reviews on here are nowhere near reality when it comes to this organization or the people who currently work there. Thanks to Katie and The Way Back ..the pieces of my broken, scattered life are currently being put back together and there is no way that would be possible without them ,they go above and beyond in order to do what it takes to make sure I have everything I need as I set out on this new positive journey in life..including staying way past closing time and even calling me after hours to make sure everything went ok and see if there is anything else they can do. My strong advice for ANYONE who is in immediate need of similar guidance is to contact * Katie and the gang at The Way Back* they are the REAL DEAL! Without them I'd still be trying to figure out what day it was and that's a FACT!!

Katie is the most caring, and involved person ive met along this particular journey mine. I love her. She responds pro.ptly and works very hard to help in any way she can. I consider her a freind nowa and its all due to The Way Back Reentry program. They saved me.
