10/10 experience with these guys! I recently moved to the area so was looking for a mom and pop type shop for maintenance on my Audi. They did my oil change and the price was great!! Will be coming back in the future for any car needs. It was pouring rain when I came to get my car and they walked me to my car with an umbrella. Sweetest guys! Thank y’all so much.

Best mechanic I have visited. Very human and wise. Shows the work done to the car and always cares for the customer. Service and delivery above expectations. I’m recommending him all the time. Any checks on the car I’ll be coming back.

I took my car to Moe for an inspection and he took care of me quickly and treated me like family. When he found out I didn’t have a printer he printed off my insurance information and helped me register my car online. They go the extra mile here! He was able to provide more than just the inspection and gave valuable advice. This will definitely be my new mechanic!!

Very communicative and honest shop!
I'm a young woman who is fairly new to auto care. I've had lots of serious issues with my old Honda, and have had even more issues with feeling taken advantage of and condescended by other mechanics. I can honestly say I haven't felt that way at all with this shop. Everyone has been very kind to me, and Moe takes the time to physically show and explain to me everything in my car that he's working on. I also haven't felt like they are charging me unnecessarily. Several times I've come in just to have them look at something minor I was concerned about, and they haven't charged me anything. They have also taken the time to tell me about preventative care steps I can take on my own in order to save time and money.
I very much look forward to continuing being a customer at this shop, and I would encourage others to give them a shot!

I noticed a puddle of coolant on my garage floor. Popped the hood and it looked like a leak right around the water pump as it was very wet around it. Half my coolant had drained. I topped off the coolant and hoped for the best as I took it to skillman auto care because of their good reviews. Moe was great in explaining that it may not indeed be the water pump and suggested a pressure test first to isolate exactly what and where the coolant was leaking ( changing the pump is an involved job because the timing cover among other things needs to be removed to access the water pump). I got a call about 2 hours later and he explained that it was just the thermostat that was leaking, and could replace the thermostat and housing for less than $1/4 the price of the water pump! Job done same day. It’s great having an honest mechanic nearby. I’m very happy.

I just had the best experience with Skillman Automotive at Live Oak and Skillman and wanted to share. I pulled into the dentist to take my daughter to a 1:00 appointment. As we got out of the car, we noticed a whooshing sound coming from my tire where it turned out there was a large piece of metal sticking out. I ran my daughter into the dentist and then across the street to Skillman Automotive. The owner, Mo, asked me to pull my car across the street, put the donut on for me, and then he took my car to a tire shop to get it patched so I didn't have to leave my daughter alone at the dentist. He was back super fast and I was able to make it to a 2:00 meeting. He earned a customer for life from me!

Told me they don't do oil changes regularly and quoted me $90 for an oil change...I went because of the great reviews, but something seemed off to me
