A place where low income people can get help with the ever demanding pharmaceutical lifestyle that we start having to live as we get older. The fact that they provided help to us and have a wide array of medications available is a godsend to me.

Lifesavers!! Mz Rosie and the other young ladies are so great! They're kind, respectful, willing to help and patient. If not for them I would not have my diabetic medicine today. Wish I was able to to do more than just give a review because everyone should know the value of the services at St. Vincent de Paul.

I was offended here today April 5th 2021. My mother's prescription order says to take 250mg 2 capsules of antibiotic medicine ' amoxicillin', which is 500mg twice a day for 14 days. The prescription order was written and forwarded to the pharmacy on the first , that is April 1st 2021. On the second, April 2nd 2021 , my mother completed the eligibility form to obtain meds there after I made the call since no one from the pharmacy called us regarding her new meds and other meds orders. I called this pharmacy today, April 5th 2021, after several days of failing to communicate us and they said, "we have the 500mg capsules only, not the 250mg capsules" . Well, the truth is that my mother is supposed to be getting 500mg regardless of its number of capsules (1 or 2 , as long as she gets 500mg twice daily). So, I told them to go ahead and transfer just that amoxicillin order to another pharmacy for me. They ended up transferring everything on my 65 years mother's prescription list to that order pharmacy since she doesn't have to pay them at St. Vincent de Paul Pharmacy for her medicines because she is qualified to get them for free there. They transferred my elderly mother's prescription medicines to another pharmacy while I was hoping to pick it up at this pharmacy because my mother was qualified to get them free. I ended up paying for all the prescription meds somewhere else. Anyway, I was told that it was an honest mistake. To me, it's only an honest mistake because some Evil person at St. Vincent de Paul Pharmacy already concluded that she or he must make sure my mother or I pay for the medicines on my mother's prescription list. I'm sure God Almighty knows the truth here. I hate to believe in discrimination but not sure what to call this kind of treatment. It really hurt my feelings because it was my very first time in my lifetime trying to get any family member to get their meds for free. I usually pay for all our meds, even if it's my last dollar. Them making up excuses for only having 500mg of the amoxicillin was the beginning of the drama , because she is to take 500mg twice daily, be it 2 of 250mg twice daily or one 500mg twice daily . The order is to take 1000mg daily in total in 2 divided doses of 500mg each time. So, their 500mg would have done the job perfectly but some Evil person there came up with a crazy story to disqualify my mother. They will help you according to what you look like not according to what you deserve or qualified for. Goodluck to those that are qualified to get everything because they look a certain way. For people like me, sorry because life is a mystery and it depends on who you meet or where you meet the person or the time you meet them.
