Wow - this did not seem like a “ohhh you play with puppies all day” kind of job. This was high volume (EVERYTHING FROM BIG DOGS to lil kitties) and high stress (a lot of rude and self entitled people getting great service for SUPER CHeap) kind of job. I am sure you are not paid enough to remain that patient and still smiling at everyone coming through the door - regardless of their expression or expectation.
It may feel thankless but I am grateful two cats not spreading the plague of kittens that tormented my hood.

There were about 30 of us that were asked to be there at 7:30. We all signed in and waited for our animal's name to be called. I guess there were 20 in front of me and I got called about 20 minutes after signing in.
It was fun sitting there and looking at all the animals. The staff was very kind and seemed to be very efficient. They took the animals back for surgery one by one without any problems. Overall it was pretty good experience.

The facility is clean, spacious, and attractive, the people are nice, and the vet/team did a fantastic job taking care of my cat's surgery - he's happy and healthy, and he doesn't have stitches or meds I have to give. It was busy at 7:30 am, but much less chaotic than I expected. Two bonuses: no separate pre-op appt required (saving time, effort, and money), and my cost for surgery, shots, & 3 mos. flea meds was less than $200, about a third of a "normal" vet clinic. It was totally worth getting up before the sun and the slog past downtown. Absolutely will visit again.
Edit: appointment required - you have to request a day, then wait until a few days before to find out if you're accepted.

I try calling for pricing since it's not on the website but they don't answer, there's an option to leave a VM but they never get back. I also sent an email. Their response is very passive aggressive responding "please visit our online booking portal below and select “schedule an appointment”. It's not online and why would I schedule an appointment before knowing if I can afford it??
