My dad and I walked into the Shinola store just to check it out. My dad, a huge fan of watches, was impressed by the selection and the cleanliness of the store. Everything felt super high-end and unique. The prices of the watches are actually really good for their quality—they are super high-quality timepieces.
I really like the store, but my issue was with the employees. They were too busy talking amongst themselves to help my dad. However, he wants to go again this Sunday, so we'll wait and see if this experience will turn into a five-star one.

Terrible customer service experience in this store.The store was basically empty of customers, but barely a « hello » when we came in.I started trying on a few watches, as I wanted to buy one. No one came to ask if I needed help, so ended up not buying anything.When I mentioned this to the store manager before walking out, saying that I had planned on buying a $600 watch but decided not to because I didn’t receive any help, his response was « too bad, maybe next time ».Which I found unacceptable for a $600 watch.

We had an unpleasant call with the store manager at this location.We wanted to return a bag because it didn’t meet out expectations. Thebag didn’t arrive when they said It would until 2 days later. The bagwas picked up several days later since we weren’t in town. When wecalled and asked for a refund she told us that the 30 days had expiredand they could only change it for something else. We didn’t wantanything else, just the money back.It seemed like we were being shamed for asking for this refund and thetone started to escalate. As a client we expect excellent customerservice and we did not receive that. We felt a rude attitude towardsus and that’s unacceptable.We ended up receiving the refund after that long conversation but wehad a bitter taste after that. We will no longer be buying anythingfrom Shinola anymore.

Service was stellar but the items I went to purchase all had stock issues. Charm was not in stock at this prime location… engraving is backed up for weeks and as advised against getting. Super disappointed

I walked in looking for a nice leather shoulder bag to carry my camera. (They don’t have dedicated camera bags, I’ve installed an insert) I ended up walking out with a nice saddle brown shoulder bag and I’m very happy with the build and quality. The staff was very friendly and helpful, I stayed a few minutes after since we talked about our favorite animes ?

Today, my fiancé and myself went to North Park for the afternoon to explore and see what’s changed as we have lived in San Antonio for some years and just moved back. We wanted to stop in the Shinola store because I own a great watch from them and wanted to check out some leather goods. I have to preface by saying that I’ve managed small box retail stores for 10 years and believe in driving sales through genuine interactions and attentive salesmanship. You never get good service in North Park generally as the rule of thumb is the nicer the mall, the less service you receive. Quinn assisted us immediately upon walking in, no more than 5 seconds past the lease line he engaged with us and identified our needs. Now, I am open and honest when I shop and I know guests aren’t always comfortable letting staff in on what they are after. But Quinn was personable and genuine and made us comfortable to where I wouldn’t mind. We explored the store and I found a nice planner to go with. Far from the price point of the messenger bag I would like, but they won me as a customer and were able to convert me into a buyer today. Great job to the team here, especially Quinn.

I bought a Yamasaki Canfield limited watch. It's a well designed and eye catching watch. Cassidy really know everything about the details of Shinola products and very professional. We will definitely go back and buy more merchandise later on.

I purchased a defective laptop bag from the North Park Mall in Dallas, Texas about 2 months ago. Frustrated, I called the store and asked to speak to a manager. As a disgruntled customer, I asked what could be done in this situation to the manager and was politely asked to stop in the Plano, Texas location for an inspection (since I live in Frisco). Following the inspection, the manager was able to assess the product and provide an in-store credit and ended up up-selling me a nice backpack. First of all, I would like to state that I really appreciated the kindness and professionalism of the whole staff there. The customer service and the management at both locations is superb and I love it!!! Quin, you are the man!

Got the Runwell Automatic 39.5mm Midnight Blue with stainless band as a nice birthday gift from my wife. The watch is handsome but is not living up to the 37 hours of reserve time as advertised/specified. I am keeping a log and after the one I purchased in June seemed to be averaging under 20 hours before stopping, I went to the store. They were extremely helpful and swapped it out for a brand new one. Unit no. 2 was 29 hours then 26 hours. I will wear it for 4-5 days during the week and then take it off for the weekend. I wind it fully then wear it 10-12 hours per day. Gotta say that under 36 hours means that I have to reset and rewind it if I don't wear it for more than a day, which is kind of like having an old-fashioned wind-up watch, not an automatic. I remember having an automatic watch many years ago in college that performed better than this, and it was probably under $200. I'll consider changing my Yelp rating if this situation improves but considering price, promises and performance they don't deserve better than 2 stars.

When the Mrs. wanted to pop in to North Park Mall to "look," I immediately pegged this as BS. After nearly 15 years (Yes, Vegas got slaughtered on the over), I know "look" means "buy." Unlike those in denial, the wife and I openly admit our watch addiction. Shinola is the new "it" watch, and thankfully, their product is very reasonable in pricing, in comparison to our previous preferences (e.g. Cartier, Tag, Yurman, etc.) The 5 star review is based on not only the product, but the customer service, which is second to none. The Mrs. wanted a watch that they didn't currently have in stock- but, the crew went above and beyond, found it, and shipped it to our house, at no charge. Friendly staff, great selection, and reasonably priced watches / goods. Will return again to "look."
