I was in Dallas for the first time for the Dallas vs. Eagles game. This hotel is at the top of the list in my favorites! From check- in to check out, my experience was great! The hotel is huge, it's very clean and nicely decorated. It hosts many conventions. My room was very spacious and spotless, housekeeping services the room every day.The hotel also has a bar, sports bar, an open market, and a restaurant, all of which I visited and was happily pleased! They have a great happy hour from 4 to 6 pm every day($6 old fashioned was AMAZING). All of the bartenders at Open Pallete were pleasant and accomdating. Our servers in the sports bar were also great( the wings and nachos were delicious). Lastly, the parlor, it's like a speakeasy type bar/lounge. Very cozy with tvs, books, and even an atari video game. My friends and I participated in the mixology class they host on site, and we made a fall french 77! It was so good! Brice and Jonas were great hosts. I can't wait to visit again! I highly recommend it!
Rooms: The room was spacious and very clean, beds were comfortable.
Food and drinks: The food and drinks on site was GREAT!
Noteworthy details: Great location in the downtown area, and the staff were awesome, making sure we were enjoying our stay!!

Large, Older but well kept hotel close to restaurants and shopping. Lots of attentive staff, friendly and welcoming. Super gym! Well equipped and better than most membership gyms. Very clean hotel too. Room although older, very clean and well appointed. Staff is often seen everywhere cleaning. Hotel Restaurants served a great breakfast.

A hotel of this size and stature should have room service! The bed was fabulous and the room was spacious but we had no hot water! The event we were attending at the hotel was wonderful. The event venue is exceptional and the food was divine. The hotel needs to offer room service and have an onsite spa

I did not stay in a room. I was in the ballroom for a large local charity event and dinner. The staff and service was amazing. The food was excellent. Everything ran smoothly which made the evening so pleasurable. Thank you Sheraton Dallas!

Faux luxury. Dirty, rooms in need of maintenance, paint, caulk, etc.
The best part were the nice folks at the check in counter and the bars/restaurants available in the hotel. Everything else was subpar for a self proclaimed 4-star hotel.

All the Staff we encountered are friendly and helpful. The hotel room we stayed in was very spacious, however it needs updating to look more inviting. The room is dark. Lights need to be brighter.

When I stay there something bit me on my foot. It was 5 in the morning I reported to the front desk and nothing was done about it. My foot got so big I couldn’t even wear a shoe. Then it start pussing so I had to go to the hospital, I have tried to reach out about this matter since I was there for work I was put on leave. No one has reached out are try to even make sure I was ok but the front desk did nothing in told me they would have someone come check it out the next day like you want me to stay in this room for another night. Be aware of what’s crawling around and those rooms.

I’m a loyal Marriott rewards member who travels a lot for work. My experience has typically always been positive staying at Sheraton Hotels.
How is the Dallas Sheraton? I’m disappointed to report I don’t recommend. Don’t get me wrong, the downstairs lobby is modern and upscale and the dining options are great. The customer service and rooms though, not great.
My first room was 62 degrees. I turned the thermostat up to 80 to try and warm things up. I waited a few hours…it went down to 61. I called guest services to report the issue and asked for a different room. Guest services said I needed to wait until an engineer showed up and confirmed there was a problem. It took the engineer 40 mins to finally show up.
The engineer they sent then got out a ladder and stuck a thermometer on the vent. It showed 57 degrees; despite the thermostat. He fiddled around for another 10 minutes to say he’d need to bleed the system. This is at 10:45 PM….
I was transferred to the South tower to a different room. The second room was dated, had paint peeling from the ceiling and rust covering the vent. To add insult to injury, this time the opposite was present; the room wouldn’t cool down. At 2 AM the thermostat said the room was 72 degrees despite being set to its lowest setting (65 degrees) since 11 PM. Thankfully a front desk director Devin went above and beyond and saved the day. At 3 AM I was transferred to a room with a working thermostat.
This was not the experience I had expected or hoped for, but I’m grateful to finally get some rest.

I had an issue with my first room, that was under maintenance at the time I came to it. The second room, the fridge did not work, and I could not get any assistance with getting it repaired/changed out.

The room was terrific and I enjoyed the quick market for easy meals while attending a conference. It’s an enormous facility in the heart of downtown, with everything you could need and more.

I was here for 10 nights and 11 days (October 6th to 16th 2024) with Southwest Airlines for training. This location is perfect because of the DART line connecting Downtown Dallas (Pearl Station and St Paul Station) to other parts of Dallas including the Texas State Fair, Southwest Airlines Headquarters (Burbank Station). My room number was 2718 in the South Tower and the 28th floor South Tower was the Southwest Airlines lounge where you can relax, watch tv, see the views of Downtown Dallas, etc. I also enjoyed water each day provided by housekeeping, a nice relaxing king bed. I also got 45% discounts at the restaurants when I was at the Sheraton. There were also shuttles that took me from the hotel to headquarters each day I went for training and at 6am the grab and go place was ready for us Southwest Employees. The only thing that was an issues was the elevators on the south tower. One of the elevators in the corner had doors that did not shut all the way and was out of service the final three days I was there. There was a long line at 445pm each day as a result when the conventions ended and Southwest Employees were back from training. If all four elevators were working this would not have been an issue.
Rooms: King Sized Bed, TV, Refrigerator, Views of Dallas
Nearby activities: Texas State Fair, American Airlines Center, West End District, Reunion Tower, Southwest Airlines HQ
Walkability: Near public transit. Can walk to lots of restaurants and bars nearby.
Food and drinks: Open Pallette (buffet for breakfast, regular restaurant for lunch and dinner)
Draft Sports Bar (open for dinner)
Grab and Go Market near South Tower Elevators

A good stay while we were here. The bay of elevators to the 28th floor was broken but got repaired our last day. Bar is ok but pricey but location is great, and parking was included. The staff was super accommodating but we had trouble connecting devices to the internet. And the windows were all dirty. The first night, our bedding was visibly stained but that was rectified quickly... Disappointed we had to make the call though.
