As a scenic designer, I have been using ScenicSource for my theatre fabric needs for several years and I have never had a bad experience. They carry a wide range of theatrical, event, and display fabrics. Sandy has answered every question I have ever had, and made great suggestions when I wasn't sure what would work best, or which might work better in an application . . . all in all, great customer service, fast response time, great people, highly recommended.

I went into this fabric store because of the high reviews and good customer service claims in the reviews.The reviews were HIGHLY INACCURATE and MISLEADING! I went in and was treated very poorly assuming by the owner! The lady at the front desk who wouldn’t provide in depth information on fabrics that me or my spouse have little knowledge on can be overlooked for we could come back after doing research but the disrespectful rude owner CANNOT! Nothing worse than going into a place of business to spend money with and being treated very poor and rude. I’m not sure if the elderly man himself was having a bad day or just showing the lack of incompetence on how to treat a customer in business. I came in with 2 toddlers very well behaved one my kids gazed at a table piece I told my child not to touch in which I’m sure he clearly heard me tell her and she did not. Then the elder guy (owner) then comes storming out yelling at my child saying “DO NOT TOUCH”! I informed him I told my daughter not to touch and that she did not and the rude notion to come out and yell at my daughter and make her cry was not necessary. I could understand if my kids were out of control and disorderly in a business setting but they were NOT! Due to a VERY POOR first impression of a business I would recommend doing business elsewhere if customer care experience is important to you.

As a long time live theatre set designer, I am often in need of theatrical fabrics that are bigger than you can find at a fabric store, or that meet fire retardant standards. Scenic Source always has a good supply in stock and can have it ready in an hour or two for pickup. The owner and staff there are also very helpful in helping you make good decisions about color, draping, transparency, sheen, what's in stock, size and cost. Truly a professional place to do business.
