The staff is always Awesome. Layla loves the staff. The groomer does a real good job. The boarding is trusted. I moved to Texas from North Carolina with just my family and was worried to boarding and grooming. I now have no worries with leaving here.

Wesley is the best! We have an ancient miniature poodle (19 years old) who is very sensitive and he takes the most gentle care of her possible. He also grooms our crazy golden doodle and she always looks beautiful! Prices are reasonable. We also use them for boarding for our big dog.

Jasmine is absolutely wonderful. She does a fantastic job with grooming our standard poodle Leonard. We have tried so many other groomers in town and no one comes close to Jasmine at Ruffit. Love her!

I’ve been going to this place for grooming my dog multiple times. Compared to other places, this place is easier to make an appointment earlier than others, and that was the main reason why I brought my dog here. But because of two reasons, I am not going back here.1. They do not “first come first serve” as they say. I dropped my dog off as the first person when they just opened in the morning so that my dog could be the first dog to be done and that I can pick her up asap, but I couldn’t pick her up until about 4pm. My dog had to suffer there for almost 8 hours for some reason despite I dropped her off as the first person in the morning. I understand people can pay more for “rush” but they did not have any that morning I believe and i guess started other dogs first then my dog as the last dog.2. BURNT MY DOG. My dog doesn’t have any history of biting issue. She is just not the kind. I know there is a chance of her biting, but she’s 7 years old small 14lbs dog and raising her, she did not bite anyone not even trying to bite. Anyway, she came home and her grooming bill was higher than expected with “special care fee” which i did not know, but whatever it could happen so I didn’t mind. That night, my dog was hiding and acting weirdly than usual. Turned out she had multiple burns on her inner thigh area. As a dog mom, it was terrifying. I called the store next morning to ask what happened, and they said groomer didn’t notice any burns and my dog bite the groomer so that added the special handling fee. First, why did they not tell me she bite the groomer when she was picked up?? I just don’t get it. If they told me, I would’ve figured out of hur burns right away as picking her up. The lady who I was talking to, said she will tell the manager as the manager is out but coming back the next day, and will let the manager call me. Guess what, no one called me. And that’s why I decided to leave this review.Knowing my dog, she probably acted up (which still she never did before) because the groomer obviously burnt her with her clipper or whatever she/he was using and it hurt her so much that she acted up. If not, why would she all the sudden do such a thing when she’s already used to this place? The question is, if the dog acted up, as a groomer, wouldn’t you check if you did something to the dog? Can’t believe how the groomer did not see this obvious burns on her inner thigh. To me, I think groomer is lying about what happened. Anyway, my poor dog crouched and hid for next three days and the burn scratch is still remaining which is heart breaking with full of disappointment. Will never go back.

I’ve searched for the last 5 years for a groomer that does Pomeranian cuts well and it was almost impossible to find until now. Jasmine at Ruffit was recommended to me and did not disappoint! My two poms have been to see her twice. They look adorable! They come home happy and the quality is excellent. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a good groom!
