I forgot my mac charger in the room , and despite numerous calls and emails, the hotel never replied to me. I guess someone from the hotel may have taken my stuff, although it is hard for me to believe they could afford a mac. Horrible service!

Everything's great. The main lobby ceilings need some TLC. Otherwise great value for money.

Spacious, quiet, comfortable. Only complaint was I moved the bed to go looking for something I'd dropped and there was a lot of dust and debris under the headboard area.Rooms: Spacious, comfortable.

Came to this hotel after a 19 hour drive from Michigan, only for the hotel to give me problems with checking in. I literally did not stay in my hotel room because they refused me and gave me nothing but trouble trying to get a refund for a room that I never stayed in. This hotel basically likes to steal. Problems with checking in? Fine no problem, but refusing to refund my money is pure evil.

AWESOME HOTEL FOR A LARGE GROUP; RECEIPT FOR LODGING TOOK MULTIPLE PHONE CALLS AND EMAILS THROUGH GHOUT THE FOLLOWING WEEKS. FRONT DESK ACCOUNTANT AND NIGHT AUDITORS REFUSE TO PRIVIDE RECEIPTS ON THE DAY OF DEPARTURE, CAUSING FRIVOLOUS CONFUSION.

The hotel itself is good, the restaurant is good, if not a tad pricey. The problem is with a manager named Jeffery who is so unprofessional, bigoted, arrogant and rude. THEY had a problem identifying a card pin file for me. Understandable. Jeffrey accosted me at 5 am yelling at me across the lobby as of I had stolen something. Insisted I had to have an escort from security accompany me to my room to retrieve a card to put on file, which was an insult. Long story short, I was removed from the property with 3 days left on my reservation with no compensation or recourse. I called to speak to dating management and Jeffery answered and told me id have to call New York because he's was going to be there all day and hung up on me. Completely unacceptable. Never been so insulted. Unbelievable. Called the police on me to boot. I had a card on file btw. If I could give this place negative stars I would based on one terrible, racist( he's black, I'm white) "manager"

My experience at the Renaissance North Hotel took an unfortunate turn as bed bugs became uninvited guests, leaving me covered in bites. The lobby staff's lack of concern added to the disappointment, highlighting a lapse in basic hygiene and customer care. Save yourself the hassle and consider alternative accommodations for a more pleasant stay.

The Renaissance North Hotel turned my stay into a horror tale, with bed bugs feasting on me and the lobby staff brushing off my distress. Hygiene and customer care were conspicuously absent in this disappointing narrative. Spare yourself the agony – look elsewhere for a hotel that values your comfort and well-being.

My stay at the Renaissance North Hotel transformed into a horror story plagued by relentless bed bugs. The lobby staff's nonchalant response to my distress only intensified the ordeal. This place neglects the fundamentals of cleanliness and customer service. Steer clear to avoid an experience that feels more like a horror movie than a hotel stay.

This hotel is infested with bed bugs! Avoid at all costs. When the receptionist was told she couldn’t care less. Worst experience in Dallas.

Very helpful staff. Rooms are getting quote worn and need some updating, though still quite comfortable. The location of the hotel is also not great, you aren't near much anything of interest.

Excited to see this beautiful hotel after the remodel. Stayed last week and was pleased with location near the airport and local food spots. Had follow up with guest services with some good conversation. My wife and I will be staying again this weekend as we attend another conference in the area.

Pro: the breakfast and dinner service were attentive and the food was tasty.Con: the property is in need of a modernization. The room is dated and lacked standard amenities at check in. The room lacks adequate power plugs/ports on both sides of the bed.Rooms: The room was old, musty and dated. While the fan worked, you cannot set the in room temperature to either AC or heat mode. The room lacked sufficient lighting and power outlets on both sides of the bed.The bathroom did not have body wash upon check in, a standard amenity that required further conversation with staff. A check of full sized amenities to see if they are empty is standard during room turn over; therefore, this was missed. The bed was comfortable, expected for this brand.

Staff was 1st rate. Stayed here for a staycation in the executive suites. Natalie was very friendly and inviting at the front desk. The hotel is old and although the decor is pretty it's dated and showing its age. I was told this hotel is getting renovated in 2024. This hotel should be stunning after that. The rooms were nice but again aged and the bed was hard not very comfortable. It would be perfect if they had the mattress topper the Doubletree uses. There was a slight stale smell to the room and again probably due to the old furniture. I was happy to see you could log into your streaming services on the TV. The shower was hot. They still offer room service even being short staffed. Due to low occupancy when I stayed there was no breakfast buffet. I will definitely come back after renovations to see how everything turns out.
