Great selection and very helpful staff. I do not drink, so I rely on help for my selections when I give gifts. Every gift I have given has been great. They even have very nice gift wrap options.

Absolutely terrible customer service. I wish I could give them zero stars but Yelp won't let me. The woman at the counter wouldn't sell to me and 2 others because one of us didn't have an ID. We drive back home to get the other's wallet, left the other at home, and the 2 of us returned. She proceeded to not sell to us because the third friend was not present. Apparently it's a state law? Very inconvenient. The same woman a few weeks back misread my ID thinking I was underage as well. Poorly staffed establishment and terrible hospitality!!! Shop elsewhere.

From the every-day to special occasion, Pogo's is my go-to spirits shop for everything. Their best kept secret is they offer concierge services which has changed my life! We were paired with a wine expert at the store and spent an hour or so walking around one Saturday afternoon sharing what we typically like, and then he built a couple of cases of wine for us to take home. Now I email him when we start to run low, provide any feedback on what we did or didn't love, and he pulls new wines for our stock and we stop in to pick up (they deliver though, too!)! It has helped us not only try new stuff but to also never drink a lame bottle of wine, no matter the day of the week.
They're also the best at helping you find great gifts. I can pop in and say "this person likes rum for sipping, they usually drink Zacapa..." and one of their experts will know exactly what to get to make for a fun and thoughtful present. They even gift wrap, too!

My 27 year old daughter was in the store with her19 year old sister over the holidays to purchase beverages for a dinner party she (the 27 y/o) was hosting that evening. She was told that because her sister was underage they would not allow the 27 y/o to make the purchase. My daughter questioned the clerk but was given the same response. She was so taken aback that she left instead of asking for a manager. I assume the clerk thought she was going to give the beverages to her sister - which she was not - but either way that is none of the clerk's business. Do they also withhold selling alcohol to those that they suspect have a drinking problem? If Pogo's policy is to judge the intent of someone with a valid ID to make a purchase please let me know so my family can take our business elsewhere.

Nice large store with excellent selection, and very helpful staff. No waiting to check out either. I noticed that on a Friday they had several tasting stations going on with both wine and spirits. Fun atmosphere is always a plus!

I worked in and collected wines for over 20 years and this is easily one of the best shops I've seen. Incredible Burgundy selection that really stands out, as do their bubbles, but every category hits that perfect balance of classic and new. The natural wine knowledge matches the selection, both rare separately in stores of this size but having them together makes this a destination.
