no I do not recommend PlainsCapital Bank for numerous reasons is very unorganized and how they open their new accounts second of all the special assets department has a very bad attitude they think they're better than us and we all are the same we eat and s*** the same just because they're in high-end Department and most of the employees on that department don't go by the word even there's proof on documents

In 2018, Frank Krasovec, a PlainsCapital Bank customer, was victim to a wire transfer hack resulting in $450,000 in personal losses. Krasovec is now suing PlainsCapital, maintaining that PlainsCapital broke their own protocols when they did not confirm the six-figure wire transfers with him, the owner of the account, before transferring the money.

I needed some cash so I stopped at PlainsCapital Bank to use their ATM machine. It ate my card!! Nothing on the machine about it not working until after it ate it. It cost me $5 to get a new one printed at my bank. So, I called PlainsCapital back about my $5. Oh sorry sir, we can't do anything about it. This is the exact reason I quit banking with them 17 years ago. The absolute worst customer service in Lubbock!! Strongly recommend staying away from PlainsCapital.

I'm an attorney and set up my business accounts with PCB. They've made my banking life so easy that any time I have an estate to administer I open the account there. The bankers are friendly and responsive any time I need anything. Couldn't be a bigger contrast between that and the terrible service I've gotten at a certain big bank. At a big bank, I feel taken for granted; they couldn't care less if I'm there or not. At PCB I feel like my business matters--they treat me like a Rockefeller even though I have far fewer zeros in my bank balance! I send clients to them without hesitation knowing they'll receive the same good service. Banking should feel easy and with PCB, it is.
