Like other reviewers, I found the front desk and staff rude and unhelpful. Room wasn't ready at check-in. Staff milling about while guests wait in line. Basic questions about my bill were met with dismissive hostility. Help me understand why Kayak charged me more for the stay than what's reflected in the folio so I can pursue resolution. Nope.
The room itself was run down and cleaning service didn't show up on the first day. I could hear the guests in the next room talking as clear as if they were standing in front of me. I have more knowledge of their relationship than I need. The bathtub was hazardously damaged and slick. The carpeting was fraying.
Rooms: Dated and run down

Enjoyed a resort day pass. The pool was refreshing. The chairs and lounger were comfortable. The waterfall relaxing and I enjoyed working out in the gym area.

Quiet and clean with the exception of the torn sitting chair. Could use an update.

The Hilton on Luther Lane: I've never been so mad in my life. The way my mom and aunt were treated during their stay was completely disrespectful. When you call the hotel, they send you to a third-party reservation company that charges $500 without approval. My mom and aunt didn't know this, so they went to the front desk. Not only was their reservation wrong, but when they asked for the right one, the front desk guy got even worse. He was rude, insulting, and unprofessional, even threatening to call security on them. They've never felt so insulted. This is unacceptable behavior for anyone working in hospitality. No one should ever stay here.

The hotel staff was extremely helpful in helping me locate a package that was returned to the hotel. Peyton from sales especially helped get the package back. Thank you Hilton Dallas/ Park

My daughter stayed at this hotel recently and told me the front desk is friendly, her room was clean , hotel looked very nice and the location was awesome! It was a safe area and had many stores nearby. She went to have breakfast at Yolk and loved it. A special thanks to the front desk manager for helping with her reservation, excellent customer service. Definitely will visiting myself

Danger - If you have a car to park while staying at this hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE!!! Valet parking is a train wreck and there is no other option. Huge problem and hotel staff refer you to the valet company. Waited an hour for them to take my car then they left the keys in the car and the window open.
Come on Hilton Park Cities - Really???

This is a fine hotel but I have a few major gripes for a hotel that charged me >$400 a night for a couple of the nights in my stay
1- breakfast should be included. There isn't even complementary coffee or water out in the morning. They are attached to a restaurant that serves food and has a Starbucks that turns into a bar in the evening. This is ill will to the customers. Even a shady Holiday Inn gives free breakfast.
2- the room thermostat can't keep a decent ambient temperature. I stayed in spring time. The first two nights I was freezing cold. My third night I bumped up the temp by 1 degree and I was sweating bullets all night. C'mon.
3- gym water machine didn't work. Can't happen in a nice hotel gym, you get super dehydrated while working out easily. Could even be considered a health risk.
I wouldn't be so harsh if they didn't charge an arm and a leg for my stay. Otherwise room was clean and staff was very friendly.

We booked this hotel for our birthday weekend getaway and to see Gabriel Iglesias (Fluffy) at the American Airlines center. With traffic, it is about 10-15 minutes to the Galleria and American Airlines Center. It is located in what appears to be a safe part of town. There is a fire station right around the corner and some shops within walking distance.
The rooms were nice. I liked the rooms had a safe and refrigerator, but you could not bring back leftovers as there was not a microwave. The rooms were clean and spacious.
The valet staff was great and ran their butts off. This hotel is valet parking only. One night, a client just left their car blocking the driveway, which made it impossible for the rest of us to get our vehicles turned over to valet, blocking the entire street. (Not the valets fault by any means..just some entitled couples fault).
The sweet little female valet was AWESOME! She gave the best local places to dine. Vidorra and Matitos were both her suggestions, and they did not disappoint! (Go check them out).
Rooms: Spacious and clean
Walkability: Target, CVS, and Marshall's are about 1 vlock away from the hotel. There are also other eateries in walling distance.
Food & drinks: Ask the valet for suggestions. Our girl did not disappoint and gave us great places to dine at.
