This small business is the sort of small business that I want to continue to support. In my experience, they are not going to try to sell you a service you don't need or take advantage of you if you are not a car person.
At least for me, having a BMW is about reliability and not because I have deep pockets. So, I do not have disposable cash to throw at a dealership just because my name comes up on a screen when I arrive or to a dishonest shop owner just because it is convenient or does not make a difference to my bank account. He kindly asked my needs and I let him know I was there for an oil change but saw that they were closing soon and didn’t want to cause them to stay open late.
