Odyssey Pets is a local North Dallas pet store, family owned and operated since 2006. Voted Retailer of the Year, it carries holistic pet supplies and offers dog grooming, boarding, and daycare services. The store is also a specialist in aquariums, carrying tropical fish and corals. The store has a special charm and is a long-time go-to for many customers, with some visiting for over 15 years. The staff and management have always been great, extremely friendly, and helpful. They provide excellent food recommendations and customers feel much more comfortable choosing healthy aquarium stock from them than from other stores. Prices for many items are cheaper as well. The grooming service receives high praise, with one groomer noted for doing an excellent job, grooming pets to perfection, and making caring suggestions. The facility is extremely clean, with well-kept grooming, boarding, and daycare spaces. The demonstration aquariums are described as truly impressive. While some note the aquarium selection is not the biggest and that some tanks could be cleaner, customers report their fish remain happy and healthy thanks to the excellent products. The store is definitely worth a visit, especially for those with dogs or cats, and comes highly recommended.

Making Odyssey Pets my new go-to store for freshwater aquarium needs. They don't have the biggest selection in North Dallas, but I felt much more comfortable choosing healthy stock from them than other stores. Prices for most everything (particularly amano and neocaridina shrimps) was cheaper as well
