Love the setup here. Great looking gun store inside and out with lots of accessories. Called 9 different stores and this is the only one that had a basic ar15 trigger that didn't require purchase of a $80 lower parts kit. (didn't need the rest) Very knowledgeable staff. Will definitely going back for cerakote.

These guys are awesome! The staff was extremely helpful and provided excellent customer service. They helped me with my FFL shipping and were extremely professional. They were very knowledgeable and able to answer all my questions. Aside from the great employees - this store is huge! It has just about everything you're looking for from pistols to rifles. and ammo.. Most other stores seem to have shortages but this place is stocked! Great selection and everything was smooth and easy. These guys went above and beyond to help me and didn't gouge me like most places wanted to with the FFL. Highly recommended if you are in the market to stop by and check them out!

I’m very new to guns. Never grew up with them, never even shot a gun until my late 20’s. Same time I bought my first gun. I went to a few places around town, but this place stood out. The guy I spoke with who I later learned is the gunsmith was very welcoming. Easy to talk to and you can tell he likes to help. The perfect blend of customer service and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Modern Outfitters. I bought 2 from them which they were able to order in for me. I couldn’t find them in new condition anywhere, and being new I wasn’t comfortable buying them online without someone to speak to about the guns themselves. The entire process went smoothly and I was very happy. My fiancé also got her first gun here too. We both loved the entire experience. They’ve earned 2 loyal customers who will always go to them as our first stop for anything gun related.

Very affordable rifle tuning and excellent work. My only other gun shop review details a bad experience that cost me so much more money and time... These guys fixed that issue and manufacturer issue on two separate guns. I'm glad I finally found a reliable store that has integrity and excellent customer service. Also, they have the ammo and parts you want in stock.

I've gone by this location multiple times. They seem to always be closed. No hours posted on their doors. This is a little sketchy to me. I had some gun smithing work that needs to be done. Ended up taking it to Durys gun shop. At least they are open and have hours posted. I've seen too many fly by night, people set up so-called gun shops in San Antonio over the last several years.

Great place.I Stopped by needed some assistance in servicing my firearm. They fixed my issue in less than a min. There fees are very reasonable in my opinion. However they fixed my issue for free. Very nice and knowledgeable guy.

I had a gunsmith do poor work at another shop. I took it to Modern Outfitters and they made it right. They seemed to really know their stuff and you can tell they weren't just trying to get the thing out the door.

This gun store is amazing! Walked in and was automatically welcomed in with a warm welcome from all the staff there. Kaleb is an awesome individual who goes above and beyond for his customers. There was no hounding/rushing me when I was trying to make a selection for my next firearm and even though I didn’t make a purchase today, I was still thanked by the staff for stopping by. Definitely earned a forever customer from me!!

Matthew was extremely helpful. They have prices similar to K-Var and a good number of firearms in stock. Make sure you look for the sign when driving on Isom, some of the photos on Google are from the store when it was located in Dallas, they are only in SA now.

I found these guys on Texas gun trader and they had a rifle I really wanted. I contacted them and they called me. After telling Kaleb I was skeptical because of all the scams on Texas gun trader, he face timed me showing me the store. There was problems completing the purchase online. Kaleb called me and made it effortless. These guys are legit and their customer service is top notch.
