I just want to express my deepest thanks and appreciation to Aris Tsami and Duc Tran for replacing my Hobie PA14 360 purchased in Illinois that was under warranty. Mariner Sails is a true dealership that one doesn't find much anymore. Never graced their doors before, but they bent over backwards to contact Hobie, authorize a replacement, convince Hobie to allow Mariner Sails to give me one of their new ones in inventory instead of making me wait for Hobie to ship out a new one, and got me back on the road to South Padre Island in less than 24 hours. And even better, Aris had a Torqeedo Ultralight 1103 AC in stock just sitting there on the floor that I had to have. Thanks again guys!

This is an excellent place to purchase a kayak. They took the time to help me pick out a kayak that fit me and my needs perfectly. I got an amazing deal on a Hobie! They answered each of my 1000 questions with a smile and gave excellent feedback. They helped me pick out all the accessories I needed and installed them as well. They showed me how to use all the features on my Hobie.I went in just planning to look at an inexpensive sit inside kayak. I walked out with a pedal drive Hobie after seeing how much it would help with all my fishing. I'm incredibly happy with my purchase and I'm truly happy they helped guide me to a better choice for my needs than what I initially thought. I highly recommend stopping by if you are interested in a quality kayak. Take some time to talk to any of the associates; they are all knowledgeable and have valuable on the water experience.To everyone at Mariner Sails, thank you very much for being open on a Saturday! I've bought various knick knacks and battery-related items from Mariner Sails and I always receive the item quickly! I recently bought an FPV-Power 12v 7ah Li-ion that failed after only a few weeks and asked to start a warranty claim... I get a call back from a very nice gentleman saying he is going to ship me a new battery and a return order to send the old one back so I can get back on the water more quickly (I didn't even ask for any expedited service... this was just offered to me) while they deal with the warranty.I'll be buying any parts I need for my Hobie Pro Angler 14 360 fishing setup when I can from this shop!

Wish they had a zero star rating. Hobie Outback Kayak has a serious design flaw that causes a leak at the front drive mount. If it's out of their short warranty time, you are out of luck. They can't fix it either. Just buy a new one at list price. Never again!

This place is awesome. The staff is very friendly and ready to help out. I called before my purchase and they were able to guide me to the correct rack to purchase. My order was ready for pickup the same day and they even called me letting me know.Chandler was great he helped me mount my rack, I had never done this before, and tie down the kayak. This was super helpful and made me comfortable using the new rack.I purchased a Liquidlogic remix kayak and Malone rack and both have been great.

Staff friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable. I took my sit on top kayak in to have a leak fixed and do something about water coming in around hatches. They helped me get kayak off/on my suburban, gave me realistic schedule and expectation about fixing my leaks. Told me what they would do and answered all my questions. They kept me up to date on progress and completed work on schedule and within estimate. Had my kayak on the lake this morning and barely a trickle of water in it afterwards. Will definitely be using them for any future repairs. As a bonus they have a large assortment of kayak accessories at a reasonable price along with the knowledge to allow me to make wise purchases.
