I had the best experience with Margo and Lisa! They were so fun to work with and made my experience that much better! My dress fit like a glove!!!! I felt the prettiest I have ever felt in my dress because of them! If something wasn’t right, they found a way and made everything that much better! If I had to suggest anyone to touch your dress, they would be the ones I’d send you too!

Margo and team did a great job with my elaborate dress. I have so much beading and embroidery on this gown - they did a great job of preserving the integrity of the dress while adding some necessary adjustments like a bustle, and bringing up the hem. I would trust them with any type of gown.

Margo West is absolutely amazing! I brought her a size 14 dress that I needed altered down to a size 2, and she worked pure magic. The attention to detail she put into every stitch was incredible—she made the dress look like it was custom-made just for me. Margo was also incredibly responsive throughout the entire process, keeping me updated and making sure everything was perfect. I’m beyond thrilled with how the dress turned out—it fits flawlessly! Incredible Experience with Margo Bridal Alterations!
I am beyond grateful to Margo Bridal Alterations for making my wedding dress dreams come true! Initially, I chose another shop, but after delays in confirming my appointment, I decided to go with Margo’s, and it was the best decision I could have made. I was impressed by the background of Margo and her sister Lisa, as well as the glowing reviews on their website, and they did not disappoint.
My dress was 4 sizes too big and had several layers, intricate beading, lace, and needed breast cups resized. Margo and Lisa completely reconstructed it within 2 months, redoing the boning for a natural fit and offering expert advice to ensure a smooth look (no dreaded “back cleavage”). They communicated clearly and timely throughout the process, and their dedication shone during multiple fittings along the way.
When I put on the finished dress, I felt like a queen—elegant, sexy, and my absolute best. Margo and Lisa worked tirelessly to make this happen, and I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you’re looking for bridal alterations, this is where you need to go!

Miss Margo and her sister are simply amazing! The work they do is a work of art. My dress arrived too big and was late arriving so I had exactly 3 weeks to have it done before my wedding. My best friend had her dress altered by Ms. West so I brought my dress into her. She and her sister performed a miracle. They added boning, they took the dress in, they fixed the hem, and added what I'm calling an internal belt (because it was so heavy), on top of a couple of other things. They completed the dress the Friday before my wedding ceremony.

I couldn’t have had a better experience here!! I brought my dress in 3rd week of August, and I came to pick it up Sept. 12th! She took her time and paid close attention to detail so it would look absolutely perfect! It fits me like a glove and I know I’m going to feel absolutely beautiful and comfortable on my wedding day in this dress!

If I could give higher than 5 stars I would! I was nervous finding a tailor in DFW that would be able to perfectly alter my Australia Couture gown, but I can wholeheartedly say Margo and her sister made my gown look better than when it came in. I would recommend their shop to anyone! The ladies were so kind and attentive, and made some of my custom add ons come to life with so much care. I am so thankful for all their hard work and can’t wait to be able to share my wedding gallery with them!

Ten stars! Margo is an absolute goddess and such a joy to work with! She is so kindhearted and generous! I felt like family the minute I met her. She was friendly, creative, thorough and patient and went ABOVE and BEYOND to ensure my wedding dress was the dress I had dreamt about since I was a little girl!! These ladies took an already gorgeous dress and somehow made it even more beautiful! They were so kind and I felt as tho they could be family! We eloped to BoraBora and did a water photoshoot. The gown held up through the sand and sea and they even helped me with getting it cleaned and ready for our Dallas reception! I can’t thank you both enough for helping to create my dream dress!

If you’re in need of bridal alterations, Margo is THE best!! I ordered my wedding dress and when it came in it was nothing like the sample I tried on. I had it altered by an in house seamstress from the store I purchased it from and it still wasn’t right. I found Margo through a friend who had her wedding dress altered by Margo and THANK GOODNESS for her recommendation. Margo is truly a master in this industry. Her attention to detail on how I wanted the dress to look and fit was spot on. Not only is she extremely talented, she’s so kind and was such a pleasure to work with. I couldn’t be more excited to wear my dress now and it’s all because of Margo!
