Great workmanship! The cane webbing done on my chairs was superb. Competitive pricing too. I was also able to get the seat cut from plywood for my DIY project!

This has to be the most professional and amazing job I have ever experienced! We had a 15 year old leather couch and over sized chair that needed some love and care. They made our furniture NEW again! I will spread the word to everyone you have to use this amazing company and their professionalism you won't be disappointed!

I have had the best experience with the quality and craftsmanship the guys at M&J have done much of the canvas and isenglass work on my boat. Made custom bed for my forward berth with beautiful Tommy Bahama upholstery and even shortened a Beauty Rest queen size mattress in order for it to fit in my Aft cabin. These guys are top notch and I won't go anywhere else!!!

As a designer this is the only place I go for my upholstery needs. I am surprised to read the other reviews and some petty reasons for not giving 5 stars. Seems like people want the great designer trades, low prices and they also want the frills of a chain store. This is a upholstery store, not a fabric store. Do not knock off points for them because of your ignorance of the industry, they are the best! They have worked on projects for me from residential to commercial, and multi million dollar homes. They are so hard working, but understand that they cannot do deliveries across DFW throughout the week and have someone at their shop 24/7, please be understanding of this. Highly recommend them!

So picked up some of the boat upholstery and canvas today! Everything is perfect. I had them take 4" off a queen bed cannot tell by looking is how well they cut it and did the seams, 4 med sized pieces of canvas with risen glass with screens and zippers and "Pictured" the Tommy Bahama for the forward stateroom. All for 938.00 who says a boat stands for break out another thousand? If anyone has upholstery work for boat, home, or commercial I highly recommend M&J upholstery on Harrry Hines in Dallas. Flawless work and great people!

I am impressed! I am an interior designer who is always in the market for a good deal, and these guys are it. They are even making sofas in there. They know what they are doing and I am looking forward to using them again.

I had them recover some dining room chairs for me. It cost $80 a chair, but these were a little more complicated than just a seat cover. The price also included new foam padding in the seats. The pattern on the backs, fronts and seats of each chair matched each other exactly. The one complaint would be the application of the piping could have been better, but I will definitely use them again!

This upholstery company is a 2 man affair with a workspace that serves as their storefront. It's definitely a no-frills establishment. They charge $25 for dining chairs and $125 for arm chairs. I got a box covered for $15. They were quick and the results looked pretty good. However, since they are a 2 man shop, you'll need to call ahead and make sure they're not at lunch or on a delivery run. I had to wait a long time for them to come back. Update: Forgot to say that you should bring your own materials. The prices quoted were just for labor. Luckily, this is down the street from the fabric district which is next to the stripper district.
