Le Meridian
Upon checking in, I noticed the wonderful decor of the atrium and was greeted at the front desk with enthusiasm. There is a nice bar area and plenty of space to sit and relax and for informal business chit-chat.
I asked about breakfast and it complementary. No - $ 24 per person. Additionally, the patrons will have to pay for parking ($ 20 per night).
Arrived to the room with two double beds. These beds are comfortable and provide lovely comforters. The nightstand has two areas where one can plug in two A/C cords and two USB ports.
The bathroom has great water pressure, but (sadly) no bathroom fan to reduce mirror humidity. The peppermint shampoo is nice but the Cilantro conditioner leaves something to be desired.
There is
complimentary bottled waters (2), a mini-fridge, but no microwave. This would be a great addition.
The pool and workout area are very nice. (Pool is indoor and on the Lower Level.
So, you can sleep well here, yall!

We loved our short stay here. The only thing we didn't like was that the carpet and flooring of the hallways were old and uneven. Other than that, the staff, rooms, location, and environment were great! $20 parking per day and the exit seemed to not be working but we made it out.

Seems like the hotel is in some sort of transition. There was rolls in the carpet all over, the tv system was broken, no microwave, and there was two lights out in my room.

Oh boy! Where do I begin… let’s start with the fact the hotel is overly priced for what it offers. Here’s what I experienced:
I’d called a month prior to arrival (after reading the reviews of the bad smell)to request accommodations (11th floor—quiet room and late checkout) I spoke with an agent who assured me that it wouldn’t be a problem when checking in.
And so, I arrived to what seemed to a nice place. However, as soon as I walked towards the entrance, there were drunkards roaming about and people smoking cigarettes and marijuana in the front of the hotel.
Be aware!
-Parking is confusing. There’s a $20 fee for parking which leaves your vehicle subject to the elements and the undesirables pacing the parking lot.
I proceeded to checkin since the room was pre booked, only to find that my accommodation requests were not being honored and I was place on the 10th floor.
Saniya was very friendly and tried her best to meet the requests. She was apologetic when she couldn’t help. I appreciated her service and agreed to take the room. The other agents and the MANAGER should have additional training on customer service.
-Room: Room was moldy and half cleaned. I found a credit card and eye glass case.
- The tub was disgusting, old and rusted. The shower pressure was also compromised. Towels were overly used and dingy. The towels had black stains as if they were used for cleaning. The body wash dispenser was broken.
-Refrigerator did NOT get cold over the 3day period, nor was it clean. The refrigerator didn’t keep any of my beverages cold. It was in need of repair.
-Air vents were covered with dark gray furry dust.
-Beds were comfortable and the linen was clean.
-TV didn’t work. Phone near the bed did not work.
-Room service is not available after 10p. The food served at the breakfast buffet is something you’d find unsanitary. Save your money and got to a Golden Corral or something else.
- Lobby was filled with drunkards. I saw one person carry multiple glasses of wine to her room. I’m assuming there’s not cut off time for the bar. Although, it mentions 12am.
- Ice machine was down on every floor.
- Departure was a bit complicated because we could not exit the paid parking without texting a phone number. I texted the number THREE times and it took about 5min before the exit was possible. The people in the car ahead of me also had trouble. There is no true valet system by the way. It was all self services.
After the additional request that I had were denied, I thought I’d roll the dice to see if the hotel would at the very least allow a late check out. I called(9am)the front desk to inquire and was told “we just can’t do that.” So I asked to speak with the manager. Mgr was not helpful or even remotely willing. She is a reflection of the team. Curt responses and unprofessional attitude. Instead she asked vigorously “who told you that you could have that?” I was afraid that I was putting someone’s job at risk so I withheld the persons name.
So when I disconnected with the mgr, immediately afterwards a housekeeper came knocking at my door @9:45am. It was concerning.
The only bright side to this place is the access to the galleria mall. This hotel is a glorified red roof inn. A absolute nightmare. Trust the reviews. This place consistently missed the mark. I’m awaiting a corporate response.

It’s seen better days. The parking lot is a wreck. The mattresses are spent. Spacious rooms.

Staff could not smile for the life of them. I left my ID there as soon as I checked in, it gave no one any thought to call me or drop it off to my room, or even e mail me that it’s there if they are too lazy to call! Now they want me to pay for a shipping label for their laziness. At my job customer service is everything and they left a bad taste in my mouth . Website says there is joint rooms there are none! They will tell you this once you check in, I called to be proactive and they didn’t tell me they didn’t have that option just to request when I check in ? the only person who saved the day and experience was mason the bartender! Now that guy is going places!

Our first stay at this hotel in 2022 was amazing, we loved the location, the size of the room, the rate, and the parking.
Fast forward to Sept 2024, we picked this hotel again based on our first experience. Bad idea…
1. We booked our room months in advance. Under the impression that parking was free, same as last time. NOPE, we get to the hotel and they proceeded to tell us we now how have to pay for parking which is $20 a day. They said they started it a couple of weeks ago. How is that fair to the people that booked months in advance with no communication that the parking policy had changed?
2. The tv in our room did not work properly. It would flash green non stop on all of the channels. We told the front desk and they said they would send someone up to fix it. Nothing changed. They did have a note on the table stating that they are doing some upgrades to the tvs but it shouldn’t affect the tv.
3. The lobby and hallways were hot and muggy and had an awful mildew smell to it. Our room had our allergies flaring up, my eyes were burning, my partners nose was running and he was sneezing every time we entered the room and it got worse when we used the shower.
We were really hopping our experience would be the same as the first time, we were very disappointed. The view was great and the location is great.

This hotel is actually beautiful, rooms were great, and I actually digged the decor more than I usually do. My problem is the place smelled like mold the moment I entered the building and ontop of that, there was an issue with plumbing I could smell down the hallway and there is no ventilation fan in the bathroom to clear out all the moisture from a shower. The customer service wasnt...bad just.... blah, very matter of fact, "what you saw on the computer doesn't matter to me" kind of attitude. My biggest issue is the location. It seemed like the hotel was put in between a few apartment complexes that def ruined the idea of vacation. ONTOP of that its $24 a day to park in the parling where your car and stuff may or may not be safe.
Rooms: Large, tv outdated, pretty comfortable beds, shower head super frustrating because it was aimed towards the wall, you couldn't straighten it(you dont realize how annoying it is until you try center it. Lol
Safety: Did not feel the safest, they even had up signs syating that the theft of your property was not the hotels responsibility even though you are paying to parl in the parking lot.... $24 a day.
Walkability: Other than fastfood, not really.

This hotel has a beautiful lobby that is elegant, cozy, and welcoming. The staff is very friendly. There were a few booking issues but they were quickly resolved. The rooms are very nice but are missing a dresser, which I normally store clothing in. The only complaint I have is the bathroom lighting. Although the mirror sconces are beautiful, since there isn’t direct overhead lighting, it is very difficult to see for makeup application. However, they do provide a magnifying mirror that is lighted.
