Pretty odd, listed as 3 different names, Labcorp. Fortrea or whatever that is and Covance. all 1 star reviews. PPD in Austin used to do really good stuff. Ask questions and get it all in writing

Cant get ahold of anyone in the office and nobody will call you back I've left hundreds of messages with screening department and filled out hundreds of forms on their contract site all with zero results don't do a study here poor management people should be fired for not completing their job tasks. This place doesn't care about your safety if they did they would use a ADULTERER TEST to check for fake/synthetic urine and use VCT to make sure people don't jump from one study place to another as many people do. Also left unattended at night no staff on floor for several hours at night. Schedule is never posted before bedtime. Rude staff waking you up at around 4am everyday for AE. Most staff constantly on their phones while working/doing procedures. Very poorly managed facility Most of the food is garbage all the condiments full of poisonous high fructose corn syrup, seed oils, canola/vegetable oils. Meals are mostly carbs, cereals are all full of sugar. They need to fire management and nutritionist as well as half the staff to get this place running right one of the worst study places on the planet to do a study.

This is the worse place ever, completely empty, no one to take care of you, no even a sign or any kind to let you know they care! Wow, I heard people laughing behind the door, knock the door, knock the windows, they didn’t care, they never can out. Incredible

This is the very worst clinic in Texas. They are famous for screwing you over in screening. One time they didn’t call me and I called every number I could but they only give you the number to reception and recruitment and recruiters don’t have the info on if you passed labs or not. Then the day of check in they called me telling me I’m banned for being a now show. I had to email about a dozen different people to show them proof of screenshots that not only was I calling non stop but I left voice notes. The very same coordinator dropped the ball on 10 other people that day. 10 of us had great labs but she failed to let any of us know. I stupidly screened with them again and they didn’t call me so I showed up the day of check in. Turns out I was not in that 2nd study. My point being there is no rhyme or rhythm to deterring if you made it or not. It’s like roulette you just never know if you are or aren’t. They have done this to so many people and there is no accountability. I hear the other clinics are much better but the Dallas location is famously known for their incompetence. It’s the lack of respect and treating us like we aren’t even human or capable of of a 30 second call back. Don’t waste your gas money, time or flight $$ on this place. They are truly awful the way screening treats you. And worst of all, management knows. Even the Labcorp in other locations are aware but no one does anything about it. If they could fudge up screening this way I can only imagine how poorly they mess up actual clinic trails. Actually they have forgotten to take blood samples from me before and they also have inverted my weight from 48kg to 84kg and telling me I’m overweight when I’m actually very slim for my size. It’s impressive how they find new and interesting ways of screwing over their participants each time.Just pure disrespect and inconsideration for their participants. They are the laughing stock clinic of Texas. It’s everyone’s last choice.Trust me management does not care. Not even sure the sponsors or clients care. I only write this to warn people coming from out of town who have to buy tickets etc. For me it was a waste of time and gas but for someone else it could be a waste of a few hundred in flights $$$Just be aware of how crumby their “screening process” is. Seriously zero respect. I feel like I’m not even a person at Covance.

There is literally no number you can call to speak to someone at this place. Trying to get an appointment for screening in a time-consuming gamble. At screening they're nice. But after screening you won't know what is going in until less than 24 hours to check-in. Even even you screen 1 month before check-in and are told there are 2 parts to the screening, they will only call you 1.5 days before check in and say 'we need you to come tomorrow for part 2 at 10am, it's the only possible time..then when you agree and make sudden change to your schedule they call back to change the time. I called 10 times and left 10 messages when check in was a week away but go no response. If you are lucky enough to get it, don't expect to stay. The study I was meant to participate in should have had 6 people doing but only 3 of us checked in. Then the criteria they outlined for dosing was suddenly changed literally 5 minutes before dosing resulting in 2 of us being sent home and only 1 person staying. The 1 meal I had was good...but if you're going to hold people there halfway through the day as fasting and then waiting to be discharged, it be nice if you fed us or at least give us a banana. They did pay in time.

Pathetic. The staff is unorganized, rude, incompetent, and jealous. They don't answer phone calls, they screw up pay regularly, they fine you just because they don't like you, they cant enter times and dates correctly forcing you to go back to the facility or get stuck and prodded again, they hate their lives and make sure you hate yours a little more after each interaction, they hate that you're making more money than them.The food is far too little even for small women and is usually disgusting.They don't let you know whether or not you made it into the study until THE DAY BEFORE in some cases.If there was an issue with your blood or ekg they'll let you know that you have to come back in and redo it the very last day before the retesting ends.Every study group has people with stories of not getting paid for up to a year after completing the study.For a multi billion dollar company to be run so childishly and idiotically is nothing short of pathetic. If the higher ups had any sense they'd fire the vast majority of the staff and leadership team.

First off , I wanna say. The staff and the accomodations are five star. They were having knew system issues. However with a turnover of the money being generated for [All] it should all work out. My emphasis was or is this . I'm Caucasian by race but my ethnicity is Chicano/ latino And there is nothing more joyous in my soul at my age then to see my people's at good jobs and excelling in the world of today. So props to my latinas and Latinos at LabCorp. USA.

November 2022 update: I am currently participating in my second LabCorp study of 2022 (fifth study overall with LabCorp).This location still deserves 5 stars (great screening process, spotless clinic , dorms, showers and bathrooms, polite and professional clinic staff). However, LabCorp needs to improve one area to remain competitive and improve participant experience.Unlike it's competitors, LabCorp does not send written codes of conduct (house rules) to participants prior to check in on site. At least one participant in every study I have done at LabCorp fails to bring headphones for their electronic devices and disturbs others in the dorm room by listening to the device speakers. It is such a common problem that I have started bringing cheap headphones to give away to volunteers without headphones. Of course, many new phones require wireless headphones. I can't afford to give away free Bluetooth headphones ...!LabCorp, please send written codes of conduct either with the screening appointment confirmation email or before check in.Early 2022 review:I have participated in 3 studies (in 2021) at this location. The employees are all professional and polite.The facilities are exceptionally clean and new towels and masks are provided daily.We get paid for compliance with study protocols (like eating standardized meals on schedule). So I look at it like a job. Don't expect Burger King, lol.LabCorp has done a great job if increasing their per diems as the job market has heated up..

This particular center is infuriating. They will waste your time. I’ve screened here twice. Both times they never once called to let me know if I passed my labs. The last study I screened for required an eye exam. I called dozens of times and left messages to every number I could find and no one has the courtesy to call back. So I came back up from San Antonio just to walk into the office to see what was going on. They said they’d call me by last night or this morning because the last eye exam is this afternoon. Of course I didn’t get a call and no one will pick up the phone. No matter how proactive you are and follow up, you can only count on them to drop the ball. I’ve never experienced such issues with other clinical trial centers. Absolute waste of time and money. I’m not even mad I don’t get to do the study. I’m outraged at the complete lack of respect and courtesy by the staff. Also, every time I’ve been there in person, there have been people walking in from all over the state saying it’s been weeks/months and they haven’t been paid and had to come up there because no one answered the phone. The answer I always overhear is their W9 was misplaced and they’ll have to wait at least 2 more weeks. Like other people have said in reviews I think they pick and choose who they want in the study and will lie about things. Just sort the reviews by newest, everyone is having the same experience. Don’t waste your time, money or resources bothering with this place.

They are terrible they give inaccurate information .they have attitudes and dont return your calls.the lady told me my lab test is good but my gallbladder how the hell can you check a person gallbladder in a physical? Like what the hell.they dont know anything. If I wasn't healthy I wouldn't never tried to screen for a study.i think they pick and choose who they want in a study and make up lies .or they screw up your lab work.i dont like it and I'm not wasting no time with this study facility no more. I will try one in Austin or san Antonio'.they very short of staff.

I’ve screened here three times. All times I never received any phone call back regarding labs/check in. I’ve had to call them back for an update an even then the screening dept. tells me they haven’t heard back anything. Before Covance switched to new management everything was good. But this new management is horrible. Not only do they not give you an update on anything but when you finally do get in touch with them (let’s say ON the day you should check in) they tell you that someone forgot to call you about the check in status. This has happened twice, the third time they didn’t call at all.

I did a screening back in May 4 .,2002 later in May 16 , 2022 I did NOT Dose . Fine . But I have been trying to get to another study in Daytona Beach , Florida and Dallas Labcorp office wont take me out of the system to be clear out.....! its taking 3 months so they lock me out. I havent been able to do a study soon. Terrible service and Etrhics in Dallas , Texas Shamer on you Labcorp Coordinator Rasni Rooman for not returning phone calls.....
