The cashier named Sol needs to be more diligent in her work area, because she was so stupid on her cell phone she couldn't do her job well! Because of his incompetence, he forgot to admit his mistake and apologize! I don't know if they come to work or come to hang out on their cell phone! Terrible customer service! Even I was better off waiting for him to finish his call than for him to answer me! But anyway I will never return to this store again!

Here they steal the information from the cards, be careful... apart from the fact that they sell old and hard tortillas

The truth is, there is a lady who serves very poorly, she always serves with reluctance and rudeness. She is sending money. I hope the manager or owner takes action on the matter.

Customer Service is just sad at this store! Cashiers needs to learn how to say a basic Hello, and actually know what they are charging. Do not recommend this store to anyone!

I would give this place more stars but their customer service is lacking at the cashier level. The young ladies don't even say hi, good morning, how are you? Or even make eye contact. They seem nice and all but I don't get why they lack basic customer service skills? They simply start scanning your items like you aren't even in front of them. I come here frequently to buy meats and other items so it's more than Having a bad day excuse. The service at the meat counter is great. They are very friendly and keep the line moving. I am so glad they incorporated a ticket number system, it used to be so confusing telling what customer came 1st or some customers would jump the line not knowing there is only one line for meat service. I hope the manager reads this and trains their cashiers to be friendly and say hi to their customers. It's the reason I stopped going to the one off Galloway, they are the same but they are also rude.

I came here with my mom looking for tortillas-homemade tortillas. We found them and much more when we got a glance at their produce section! They had better looking, fresher produce than what I've been seeing at Kroger, Walmart & Tom Thumb; and it was cheaper! My mom and I started bagging pounds and pounds of peppers, onions, potatoes, etc since we had my sister's wedding coming up and needed to mass produce Indian food. We paid $11 for everything and we couldn't be happier. This place is right in the middle of my drive to my mom's place. She and I will be making lots of pit stops here on our drives.

The family, and I love coming to this store to buy Mexican products that I wouldn't find anywhere else. But, I really come here is for the Marinated Meats that this place offers...you're cookouts will be a great success, and you'll look like a Master Chef. Awesome place!!! Note: Their marinated Chicken Wings are the BOMB!!! A must try for any cookout!!!

A great taco bar, grocery store and meat market in one stop. Try the cross cut ribs.

You don't need to know any language to buy anything. This is something I've learned in traveling all over the world, especially to places like China. Anyhoo, you can find SUPER cheap produce, decent meats and a good selection of Mexican-anythings (I'm tempted to cook a catcus leaf one day). Go here. I hear the food is good too, but we make our own tacos/burritos at home with fresh tortillas from H-E-B Central Market.

It's going to be difficult for me to rate the taquería AND the store elements of this place in the same review, since I feel that the store definitely outshines the taquería. So I'll do this one part at a time. The store: Five stars. Love their everything here. The veggies are always fresh, better than most of the major supermarkets in the area, and their meat counter has some fabulous selections. I honestly can't think of anywhere else I'd rather go to get my fajita meat. If you're looking to buy canned or boxed goos, you might find the selection a little sparse, but they do have a great soda selection to make up for their other shortcomings. The taqueria: Two stars. I've been here twice to pick up some tacos on my way home. First, to seem like you know what you're doing at least, pay for your tacos at the front before you order them. Otherwise the lady behind the counter might look at you like you're crazy when you tell her how many tacos you want instead of handing her a piece of paper. The taco meat here has been sub par both times I've gone. Barbacoa once, fajita the next time, and both visits provided me with unsatisfying meals. The meat was either too chewy or tasted like stew meat, but this was probably because my taco meat had already been cooked, sitting in a tray soaking in liquid for who knows how long. Moral of the story -- Go for the fresh food you're going to make at home, not for the tacos. Oh, but there is one bonus: Most days there is an elotes cart sitting outside the front door so you can grab a cup of corn on your way out.
