Called to inquire on their selection and some rude older man answered with a “hello?” I asked him if this was a business to make sure I reached a business (Vino Vault) and he was more interested in giving me a hard time than helping me get a bottle of wine. I’ll take my hard earned money elsewhere.
Answering the phone with a “Hi this is Vino Vault, how can I help you?” would go a long way cranky man.

DO NOT STORE WINE HERE! THEY WILL LOOSE IT! The new ownership (i.e., Vino Vault) is the worst. I used to have winery shipped to La Cave for years and they always did a good job of notifying me and checking the temperature, etc. About a month ago I went to pick up several of my bottles of Hundred Acre that had been shipped to La Cave and was being stored on site. The new Vino Vault employees pulled the bottles in advance, but when I was loading them onto the dolly, I noticed the boxes had a different clients name. Clint Anderson (operations manager) said they would pull my bottles and I could come back and get them same day. Instead, they said they couldn't find the thousands of dollars worth of wine that I had stored with them. After ignoring my follow up emails, I called Clint and he laughed at me. He said per my contract, Vino Vault isn't responsible for safeguarding my wine. I asked for a copy of the contract and he said he would send it to me that day. After several follow ups, I've never received a copy of the contract and this is the last email I received from Clint "....We can only be accountable for wine that is here when WE inventory it. That is the case here. The wine you are asking us to pull was not in the inventory we did. Therefore we cannot be held accountable for them. This will be my last correspondence about this.- Clint"In short, if you stored wine with La Cave, don't expect Vino Vault to have it. You will also have to pay them periodic fees to keep an inventory of your bottles if you want them to be held responsible for not loosing your wine.After removing all of my wine from Vino Vault, I realized that they gave me two cases of another customers wine. So this is definitely a recurring problem.

I love the place and its selection! The one star rating is for being closed on Xmas eve all day and not caring enough to update your hours on Google. I drove 20 minutes to find a closed door and a sign stating you would reopen a few days before NYE.Ended up going to total wine to buy good bottles.

Wonderful place with carefully selected wines. My husband and I came in today and were welcomed by the owner. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and fun. It was obvious that he had spent a lot of time into curating superior wines at all price points. We will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone who is looking for an elevated wine experience.

Great selection of wine for those looking for hard to find wines. Prices are market value, but you definitely get what you pay for, great wine.Not to mention they're super friendly and cute Bouvier, Napoleon.

I was curious as to how La Cave was reviewed on Yelp. Not surprisingly, it's all 5 star reviews but I'm shocked there are only four reviews, so I obviously have to add mine. This place has an amazing selection across all price points, especially their French selection, and is owned by a very friendly and knowledgeable couple, Rhonda and Kirk. They also have options for offsite storage of wine, which I will be taking advantage of once things cool down and I receive all the wine shipments I've ordered and had held during the Texas summer. If you're lucky when you stop by, you'll be greated by the owners' very friendly and playful Bouvier des Flandres, Napoleon!

When you search "Wine" in Apple Maps you expect to wind up at a liquor store. La Cave is set back off the road (way back) and when you walk in you think "OK, I went to the wrong place." If you are looking for a good bottle of wine, though, stick around. Kirk will walk you through the huge selection and help you find exactly what you're looking for...even if you're looking for something that doesn't break the bank.
