I call and spoke to a pharmacist who said my meds were ready to be refilled and picked up and then I called 3 days later spoken to another pharmacist and they said my prescription wasn’t ready to be refilled even though I was told 3 days prior they were ready for pick up .

A pharmacy is a pharmacy. They can’t control your insurance, drug manufacturers, or your physician. That said, switching from Walgreens to Kroger pharmacy has been the BEST decision I ever made. For those unsatisfied with this Kroger pharmacy, please go try Walgreens or CVS.. you would not last a day with them! ? Thank you Kroger pharmacy for the service, stock, pricing, and speed. ♥️

My house has bought our groceries from this Kroger for the past 3.5 years and I can guarantee none of us will ever be back to this store again after my experience today. For context, we all spend about $300 per week total on groceries, meaning we've spent over $40k at this location over the past 3.5 years... anyways, I was looking to do a propane tank exchange and I had a quick question so I walked in with my empty tank and directly up to the first employee I saw. At the same time, she noticed one of her friends in the store shopping and said hey and waved her over. I was standing by the employee smiling and politely waiting for her to finish her conversation before I asked my question. That's when "Patricia" walked up... I do not know know who made the decision to hire this woman but clearly she has some unresolved anger issues because she came up immediately aggressive with an extremely loud tone as if I was attempting to walk out a full cart without paying and said "You can't have that in that here! Go outside now!" And I said "Ma'am it's empty, I'm waiting for this other employee to finish her conversation with her friend so I can ask her about doing an exchange". She says, "NO NO NO" and I said "hold up, I just have a quick question because I don't know how to exchange this" and she says "No there's no hold up, you need to go outside NOW!". I had enough her at that point and nonchalantly said "Alright, f you guys, I'll go somewhere else for a tank" while walking away and no joke, for a moment Patricia physically charged at me and I saw it over my shoulder as I continued to casually walk away while I heard the other employee say "Patricia, stop! It's not worth it!". I have never had such a negative experience with an employee in my entire life. Check the cameras to confirm this all is correct then please fire this woman so maybe she learns a lesson about how to properly interact with customers!

The second time I've been in here recently where the employees are so rude. This store has gone way downhill. Sad. I'll shop at Tom Thumb even though they are higher because the employees are friendlier. Kroger was the best. Now they are the worst.

I just spoke to Jhonny and he was super professional and helpful, polite and took his time to explain and even suggested we use Good Rx for my friend. Thank you! He gaves us a way better price than Wal-mart pharmacy !

No one answers when you call, and the few times they do answer they put you on hold and don’t come back to the phone.

Pharmacy has the most ignorant staff I've ever seen. Please educate your staff if possible. Never use this Kroger on Mockingbird for anything. That by the way is a -*.

I started going to this one because I was sick of CONSTANTLY getting haggled for internet service at the one on Northwest Hwy. Go to this one today and now they have the same thing - except it's right where you walk in to get a cart. I am coming here to shop for groceries, not get Internet. You can't avoid them - they come running over to you. Two nights ago I came here by myself and there were THREE different homeless people right at the door asking for money - one of them clearly either on something or mentally unstable. It was dark and the other entrances were all locked so you had to walk through there. None of the employees did anything. This is not safe. Also - bugs on the produce at both locations. It's disgusting - wish I would have taken a photo today. Switching to a different grocery. Kroger has gone waaaaay down hill.

I recently moved to the area from elsewhere in Texas and was looking for a pharmacy, as my previous pharmacy, HEB, is not prominent in the Dallas area. As a child, my family used Kroger in another state and always had a positive experience, so I was happy to see there was one nearby. Prior to having my doctor send over a prescription refill, I called to set up my profile and ensure that they would be able to fill the prescription because I have not yet found a psychiatrist in the area and there is currently and Adderall shortage. The gentleman I spoke with was very friendly and told me that it was in stock and would be no problem at all. Great!Unfortunately, that was the only positive experience. Upon going to pick up my prescription, I was informed they would not be filling it because my doctor was from out of town. I've seen my psychiatrist for 5 years, and that doctor is in the same state. If my doctor provides Telehealth and in-person services, and my insurance covers it, why would I spend months trying to get into a new psychiatrist and hope that they are a good fit when I can keep my current doctor?! I was disappointed, but asked if they knew of somewhere else that could assist me instead, and was told "that's not our problem - sorry..."Wow. I found that very dismissive, but called my doctor to try another pharmacy. However, Kroger decided to block my filling of the prescription, but then held onto it in their system so it could not be transferred. This was discovered on a Friday afternoon, and so now I will have to wait until the next week at best to get this filled.I called the next morning to ask them to release the hold and ask for clarification on why it was denied. This time, I was told that it was against state law to fill a prescription for a controlled substance from a Telehealth visit. This was a completely different reason than I was told the day prior. When I stated that this is untrue as just last month I had it filled from a Telehealth appointment where I used to live, they told me "well, we follow the law here."At this point I was frustrated and feeling like perhaps I had missed a change in the law, and looked into it. According to a DEA statement on 5/9/23, Telehealth providers are able to provide prescriptions for controlled substances until November of 2024 (well over a year from the writing of this review) while a change in the law is reviewed. I could find no state or local law backing up what the pharmacy told me was the reason during either conversation for denying my prescription.Apparently Kroger feels that they are able to act as pharmacy, doctor, and the DEA. The entire process made me feel as though I was a drug addict looking for a fix, when in reality, I am trying to treat a condition that I see a doctor for regularly. If Kroger doesn't want to handle a controlled substance, fine - but don't treat your customers like junkies, lie to them, and tell them that treating their health is "not their problem." A pharmacist/tech's personal opinions on a medication is irrelevant, and should not be brought into customer interactions. I absolutely will never use a Kroger pharmacy again.

I purchased a twin-pack of Nyquil/DayQuil last month, not knowing my partner just purchased the same at CVS. After going through COVID two weeks later, I finally got around to returning the unopened package back to Kroger. The Customer Service counter was closed, so I asked an employee where I could get a refund. He said I needed a manager's approval because I brought it back past their return policy deadline. The manager came over and she explained that it was 31 days since I purchased it and I must return it within 30 days! I told her I was sick with COVID and she went into some convoluted reason how I could have contaminated the unopened product. It sounded like she would rather have me come in with COVID and infect people only because it was within their 30-day window. What should have been a 'no-problem return' turned into a 5-10 minute lesson on their return policy, price fluctuations, a scolding on spreading COVID, and finally getting a refund. Geeez, it's not like it's immediately perishable - it had an expiration date of12/2024. For a store manager, customer service was not her strong point. I'll just do my shopping at other grocery stores given this hassle!

I've always liked this pharmacy. I have used them for over 4 years. Yesterday I had a wreck, and I was having some prescriptions filled. I called and asked him that they be ready in record time as I was going to have to Uber home, and when I showed up they recognized my name and everything was ready for me.
